Nautilus 2025 Enchants

Limited time

Nineteen limited-time ocean-themed custom enchants for armor, weapons, ranged gear, a shield, a fishing rod and tools that come on seasonal skins in Prison and Survival.

Available on Prison and Survival.

Nautilus 2025 Enchants are nineteen custom enchants from the limited-time Nautilus crate set. They cover all four armor pieces, five swords, three axes, a bow, a crossbow, a shield, a fishing rod and three tools. The set has been offered in Prison and Survival, and is not necessarily available right now. The enchants are not sold in the enchant shop and do not come from runes or enchanted books.

How to get it#

Each Nautilus enchant sits on one skin of the Nautilus skin set, which has been offered through limited-time crates. The level is rolled when the reward is created, and every level in the listed range is equally likely.

In Prison the shovel skin also lists Looting IV. A skin only adds the enchants its item can hold, and a shovel cannot hold Looting, so the shovel ends up with the same enchants in both modes.

  1. Open a crate that carries the set. See Crates. Keys for limited-time crates come from the network store while they are offered. Mode specifics are on Prison Crates and Crates.
  2. Redeem the skin voucher. The skin arrives as a voucher item. Right-click it to add the skin to your collection.
  3. Apply the skin. Open /skins, pick the skin and press its apply button. The skin goes onto the first matching item it finds in your armor slots, your off hand or your hotbar. It must be the item type in the "Fits" column, so armor, swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels and hoes must be Netherite. The item takes the skin's look, the vanilla enchants listed above and the Nautilus enchant at the rolled level. An enchant the item already has at an equal or higher level keeps its level.
  4. Removing the skin takes its enchants off the item again and puts back the levels the item had before. See Cosmetics for skins in general.

Besides the skin, crates of the set also hold other rewards such as enchant runes, pickaxe enchant tokens, boosters and a chat tag. Which rewards a crate holds can change, see Crates.

Set bonus#

Enchant details#

Every value below is the same in Prison and Survival. Most of these enchants are chance enchants: the chance is what the table shows for the item's level, and there is no cooldown unless stated. Weapon enchants trigger only with the enchanted item in your main hand.

Abyssal Vision#

Applies to: Helmets. Max level: VII (the crate rolls I to VII). Comes on: Nautilus Helmet. Trigger: Every 10 seconds while you wear the helmet.

Every 10 seconds the enchant rolls its chance, whether or not any mobs are near. On success every mob, including animals, within 10 blocks of you in every direction glows for 5 seconds. Players are not affected. You receive a message when at least one mob was made to glow.

Mariners Shielding#

Applies to: Chestplates. Max level: VII (the crate rolls I to VII). Comes on: Nautilus Chestplate. Trigger: Being hit by a projectile while you wear the chestplate.

When an arrow, trident or other projectile hits you, the enchant rolls its chance. On success the hit is blocked completely and you take no damage from it. Separately, you take no drowning damage at all while you wear the chestplate, at every level and without a roll.

Tidestride#

Applies to: Leggings. Max level: X (the crate rolls I to X). Comes on: Nautilus Leggings. Trigger: Being hit by a player, a mob, a projectile or another entity while you wear the leggings.

On success you get Speed II and Jump Boost II for 2 seconds.

Wavewalker#

Applies to: Boots. Max level: I. Comes on: Nautilus Boots. Trigger: Moving while in water with the boots on.

When you move in water and the enchant is not on cooldown, you get Dolphin's Grace for 7 seconds. The 30-second cooldown starts when the boost is given, so the boost is available at most once every 30 seconds. There is no chance roll. On Bedrock Edition the boost only starts while you are swimming, and while it lasts it also speeds up your swimming in the direction you are looking.

LevelBoostDurationCooldown
IDolphin's Grace7 seconds30 seconds

Riptide Thrust#

Applies to: Swords. Max level: VI (the crate rolls I to VI). Comes on: Nautilus Spear. Trigger: Hitting a creature with the sword in your main hand.

On success you are launched forward in the direction you are looking. While the dash lasts, every creature and player within 2 blocks of you is frozen for 1 second: a frozen player cannot walk or jump (falling still works), and a mob has its movement stopped at that moment. Creatures that are already frozen are skipped. The dash ends when you touch the ground again, at the earliest 1 second after it started, and after 5 seconds at most.

Oceans Edge#

Applies to: Swords. Max level: VI (the crate rolls I to VI). Comes on: Nautilus Sword. Trigger: Hitting a creature with the sword in your main hand.

On success the target gets one wet stack that lasts 5 seconds. A target can carry up to 3 stacks at once, from all attackers together; while it has 3, a proc adds nothing. The target then gets Weakness and Slowness at the level of the stacks you have on it (I, II or III) for 5 seconds. A stronger Weakness or Slowness the target already has is left alone. Players and mobs can both be targets.

Applies to: Swords. Max level: VI (the crate rolls I to VI). Comes on: Nautilus Greatsword. Trigger: Hitting a creature with the sword in your main hand.

On success everything within 3 blocks of you is knocked away from you with a strong push, and every creature that was pushed takes 2 damage (1 heart) from you. The target is included when it is within 3 blocks. Other players are only pushed and damaged where PvP is allowed.

On success the target takes 2 extra damage (1 heart) from you. If it survives, it is stunned for 1 second. A stunned player cannot move, jump, use items or interact with blocks, and a stunned player or mob cannot deal melee hits. A mob has its movement stopped when the stun starts.

Levels VI (11%) and VII (12%) exist, but the crate does not roll them.

Whirlpool Shot#

Applies to: Bows and crossbows. Max level: V (the crate rolls I to V). Comes on: Nautilus Bow. Trigger: An arrow shot from the bow in your main hand landing, on a block or a creature.

The chance is rolled when the arrow lands. On success a whirlpool forms where the arrow landed and lasts 5 seconds. Every tick it pulls everything within 5 blocks of it towards its centre, except you. Other players are only pulled where PvP is allowed.

Maelstrom Bolt#

Applies to: Crossbows. Max level: VII (the crate rolls I to VII). Comes on: Nautilus Crossbow. Trigger: A projectile from the crossbow in your main hand landing.

The chance is rolled when the projectile lands, on a block or a creature. On success, if it hit a living creature, that creature gets Slowness II for 10 seconds. Each projectile rolls on its own, so Multishot rolls three times per shot, and a piercing bolt only counts the first thing it hits.

On success Resistance I is applied for 5 seconds and you receive the activation message. The Resistance goes to the attacker whose hit you blocked, not to you; for a projectile, that is whoever fired it.

Leviathans Hook#

Applies to: Fishing rods. Max level: X (the crate rolls I to X). Comes on: Nautilus Fishing Rod. Trigger: Casting the rod.

Each time you cast the rod, the enchant rolls its chance. On success that cast gets 5 extra levels of Luck of the Sea on top of any the rod already has, which raises the chance of treasure and lowers the chance of junk. From level IX the bonus applies to every cast.

Coral Cleaver#

Applies to: Pickaxes. Max level: VII (the crate rolls I to VII). Comes on: Nautilus Pickaxe. Trigger: Breaking a block with the pickaxe in your main hand.

The enchant has two separate rolls:

  • Ore bonus. When you break coal, iron, gold, diamond or emerald ore (including the deepslate versions), a success adds one extra coal, raw iron, raw gold, diamond or emerald to the drop. It adds one item, not a doubled stack. Other ores are not affected.
  • Coral bonus. When you break a living coral block (tube, brain, bubble, fire or horn), a success drops one extra item: a bone (100 in 101) or, rarely, an emerald (1 in 101).

Applies to: Shovels. Max level: VI (the crate rolls I to VI). Comes on: Nautilus Shovel. Trigger: Hitting a creature with the shovel in your main hand.
