This guide adds Netherite on Minecraft Bedrock Edition for mobile and Windows. Bedrock players join the same worlds as Java players.
Steps#
- Open Minecraft and tap Play. Launch Bedrock Edition and tap Play.
- Go to the Servers tab. Tap the Servers tab at the top, scroll all the way down, and tap Add Server.
- Enter the address and port. Enter any name such as
Netherite, set Server Address toconnect.netherite.gg, and keep Port at19132. - Save and join. Tap Save. The server appears in your list. Tap it to join.
One-tap shortcut on Android#
On an Android device the website offers an Add to Minecraft in one tap button on the connect page. It opens Minecraft and fills in the name, address and port for you. If you prefer, follow the manual steps above.
What is different on Bedrock#
- Your name starts with a dot. Bedrock players appear as
.YourGamertag. Spaces in the gamertag become underscores. Java and Bedrock accounts never share a name this way. - The resource pack is applied for you. Bedrock clients receive the pack automatically, so there is no prompt to accept and no reminders. See Server Resource Pack.
- Captchas are skipped. The captcha that appears after long stretches of repetitive play does not appear for Bedrock players (Captcha).
- Website login. The website asks which edition your account uses so it can find your in-game profile (Signing In to the Website).
Consoles#
Xbox and PlayStation cannot add external servers directly. Use the phone-app method in Joining from Xbox or PlayStation.
Troubleshooting#
If the server does not connect, check the port first. It must be 19132. See Connection Troubleshooting.
