The Server status page tells you whether Netherite is running smoothly right now. It shows live performance for each game mode and each individual server: ticks per second, the time each tick takes, and how long the server has been running. Use it to tell a server problem from a problem with your own connection before you report anything.
Open Community > Status (or Server status in the footer). It is public, needs no sign-in and updates every 10 seconds while the page is open.
What the page shows#
At the top a status banner summarises the whole network, and four counters show Servers ready, Avg TPS, Avg ms/tick and Longest uptime. A gauge shows the network TPS against the 50 ms tick budget. Two charts, Network TPS and Avg ms/tick, fill in with live samples while you keep the page open ("Collecting live samples..." until the first points arrive; the charts do not keep history after you leave).
Below that, Gamemodes lists one row per mode, for example Lifesteal, Skyblock, Survival and Prison, plus other server types such as the hub. A row shows the mode's status word, its average TPS and ms/tick and its longest uptime. Expand a row to see each server in it under a friendly name such as "Skyblock 1", with its own state, TPS, ms/tick and uptime.
A mode with no running server shows No servers online. If the page cannot reach the network at all it says "Live status is unavailable right now. This page couldn't reach the network. The servers themselves may still be fine." with a Try again button. If a refresh fails after data has loaded, an amber notice says "Live updates interrupted. Showing the last known status while we retry." and the last values stay on screen.
Status key#
| Colour | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Green | Operational | Running normally |
| Amber | Minor lag | Occasional hitching, usually brief |
| Red | Heavy load | Degraded performance on that server |
| Orange | Restarting | A restart is in progress; rejoin in a minute |
| Blue | Starting up | The server is booting |
A server's condition comes from its tick speed: 19.8 TPS and above is excellent, 18.0 and above is good, 15.0 and above is degraded (shown as Minor lag) and lower is critical (Heavy load). A server that has stopped reporting for about a minute counts as restarting. A group reads "Some servers restarting" when only part of it is down.
Reading the numbers#
| Reading | Meaning |
|---|---|
| TPS | Ticks per second. 20.0 is the Minecraft ceiling. Below about 18 you start to feel lag |
| ms/tick (MSPT) | Average time the server spends on one tick. The budget is 50 ms to hold 20 TPS. Lower is better |
| Uptime | How long that server's process has been running; a short uptime means a recent restart |
TPS is estimated from ms/tick as the smaller of 20 and 1000 divided by the ms/tick. A server that has not reported a tick sample is marked "TPS estimated · no tick sample".
Report a problem#
The page ends with three shortcuts:
- Seeing lag? If your game mode shows Operational here, the issue is likely your own connection. Try rejoining, or use a wired connection.
- Can't connect? Check the address and game version in How to Join and Server Addresses.
- Still stuck? Open a support ticket with your username, game mode and what you see (Support Tickets on the Website).
