A Money Note is a paper item that stores an amount of money. Whoever holds it can right-click to add that amount to their own balance, which makes notes useful for safekeeping, for trades and for handing money over as an item.
Creating a note#
/withdraw <amount> removes the amount from your balance and gives you a note worth exactly that amount. The note is named <amount> Money Note and shows its value and "Right-Click to redeem" in its description.
- The amount uses the same suffixes as
/pay(k,m,b,t,q). - You need at least the amount in your balance, and the amount must be above zero.
- If your inventory is full the note drops at your feet.
Redeeming a note#
Hold the note and right-click (not while sneaking). The note is consumed and its amount is added to your balance, with a confirmation message.
- A note can be redeemed only once. If the redemption cannot complete, for example during a server problem, you get the note back and a "Failed to redeem note" message.
- Notes are bearer items: they are not tied to the player who made them. Anyone who picks one up can redeem it.
- Money is separate in every gamemode, so a note is meant to be redeemed in the gamemode where you withdrew it.
Where notes are available#
| Gamemode | /withdraw |
|---|---|
| Skyblock | Yes |
| Lifesteal | Yes |
| Survival | Yes |
| Hub | Yes |
| Prison | No |
Prison balances are reset by prestige and rebirth systems, and a note minted before a reset would carry money past it. For that reason Prison does not let you withdraw money into notes, and money notes cannot be listed on the Prison auction house. Notes you already hold in Prison can still be redeemed.
