The Cosmetic Marketplace is a player-to-player market for cosmetics (skins, tags, pets, back mounts and the rest of the families on Cosmetics). Every price is in gems. Listings, buy orders, offers and gifts all work in-game, and the same market is available on the website, see The Website Marketplace.
Commands#
All of these open a menu. The base command has the aliases /cmarket and /skin-market.

Never share your website login code or link with anyone.
Selling#
- Open
/cosmeticmarket sell, choose the cosmetic and enter a price in gems. - The game tells you the sale fee: "A <fee> sale fee (<percent>) is deducted when it sells; you will receive <net>." Some accounts are exempt and receive the full price.
- Manage a listing from My Listings: Change Price, Remove Listing, or View Offers (counter-offers on the listing).

A cosmetic that is currently on the marketplace cannot be offered on separately, and a furniture piece that is placed in the world must be recalled first.
Buying#
- Open
/cosmeticmarketand click a listing. The window offers Confirm Purchase or Make an Offer. - Buying needs enough gems in your balance ("You don't have enough money to buy this listing") and you cannot buy your own listing.
- A counter-offer must be below the listing price. The gems are held in escrow, and are returned if the seller declines or you cancel ("Escrow reclaimed").
- On a listing view you also get Place Buy Order, Recent Sales (recent sale prices), Toggle Watchlist and Buy Orders (the active orders for that cosmetic).
Buy orders#
A buy order offers to buy a specific cosmetic at your price whenever one is sold.

Offers on cosmetics that are not listed#
Use /cosmeticmarket offer <player> to browse a player's cosmetics and make an offer for one that is not for sale. The owner answers from Offers On Your Cosmetics (Accept Offer or Decline Offer). You cannot offer on your own cosmetic and you cannot have two pending offers on the same cosmetic. Offers are in gems, with a 2 minute gap between offers, and unanswered offers expire.
Watchlist#
The watchlist keeps up to 50 cosmetics you want to follow.
Gifting#
/cosmeticmarket gift <player> opens a picker of your cosmetics. Gifts currently cost no fee. You cannot gift to yourself, and the recipient must not already own the cosmetic.
Restrictions#
Accounts that have been restricted from cosmetic trading see "You are currently restricted from cosmetic trading." and cannot use the market.
