Consoles cannot type in a custom server address, so console players join Netherite through a free phone app called BedrockTogether. The app makes the server show up as a LAN game on your console.
What you need#
- An Xbox or PlayStation running Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
- A phone or tablet on the same Wi-Fi as the console.
- The free BedrockTogether app, from the App Store or Google Play.
Steps#
- Download BedrockTogether on your phone or tablet.
- Enter the server address in the app. Open the app, type the address
connect.netherite.ggand port19132, then tap the green button to start it. - Open Minecraft on your console. On your Xbox or PlayStation, open Minecraft and choose Play.
- Go to the Friends tab and find the server. Scroll to LAN Games at the bottom. The server appears there. The app must still be running on your phone.
- Tap it to join.
After joining#
Console players are Bedrock players. The same notes as Joining on Bedrock Edition apply: your name starts with a dot, the resource pack is applied automatically, and the captcha is skipped.
Troubleshooting#
- The server does not appear under LAN Games: make sure the phone and console share the same Wi-Fi network and that the app shows the server as started.
- You lose the connection: reopen the app, start the server again and rejoin from LAN Games.
