Extraction Scroll

In Lifesteal, an Extraction Scroll pulls a custom enchant off an item and gives it back as an enchanted book.

Available on Lifesteal.

The Extraction Scroll takes a custom enchant off an item and gives it to you as an enchanted book at the same level. It is only active in Lifesteal. It works like a Black Scroll, except that the enchant is saved instead of destroyed.

How to get it#

The scroll is not sold in the enchant shop. In Lifesteal it can be found in these rewards:

  • seasonal lootboxes and megaboxes, which rotate over time
  • the mystery vault

See Crates for the crates and Mystery Vault for the vault.

How to use it#

  1. Open your own inventory.
  2. Pick up the scroll with your cursor and click the item that carries the enchant.
  3. A menu lists the custom enchants on the item. Click the one to extract.
  4. The enchant is removed from the item and you receive a book with that enchant and level. The new book has no success or destroy rate: it applies every time.
  5. Closing the menu without choosing gives you the scroll and the item back unchanged.

What it can and cannot extract#

  • Custom enchants only; vanilla enchants are not offered.
  • Enchants from limited-time exclusive sets are not offered.

Notes#

  • The extracted book is a normal enchanted book. Apply it to another item that fits the enchant's target; see Enchant Targets.
  • Because the book comes back guaranteed, extraction is a safe way to move an enchant to better gear.
