Known Issues

The Known Issues page lists the bugs the team is tracking with status, follower count and update history, and lets signed-in players follow an issue to be told about fixes.

The Known Issues page is a public list of problems the Netherite team is aware of and working on. It exists so you can check whether a bug is already known before you report it, and follow it to be told when it is fixed. The team writes each entry, often from bug reports that players sent as tickets; entries show no player names and no private details.

Open Support > Tickets and click the Known Issues tab (Support Tickets on the Website), or type "Known issues" in the site search (Site Search and Player Search). The list and every issue page can be read without signing in.

The list#

The page, headed Known Issues ("Issues our team is aware of and tracking. Follow an issue to be notified about updates and fixes."), has a row of tabs: All, Open, Confirmed, In progress and Fixed. Issues are listed 20 to a page with Previous and Next. A tab with nothing in it says, for example, "No fixed issues right now."

Each card shows:

  • the issue title and the start of its description,
  • a Following badge if you follow it,
  • the affected area (for example a game mode or the website) when one is set,
  • a status badge,
  • how many players follow it and when it was last updated.

An issue page#

Click a card to open it. You see the title, status, affected area, when it was reported and last updated (and fixed, once it is), the follower count, the full description and an Updates list written by the team as the issue progresses. An update that changes the status shows "Moved to" with the new status. With no news yet it says "No updates yet. Follow this issue to be notified when there are."

  • Follow subscribes you. The site says "Following this issue. We'll notify you about updates." You are then notified of updates and the fix through your notifications (Website Notifications). Click Unfollow to stop ("Unfollowed this issue.").
  • Signed-out visitors see Sign in to follow (Signing In to the Website).

Linked tickets#

If you reported the bug in a ticket (Support Tickets on the Website) and the team tracks it publicly, your ticket shows "This issue is being tracked publicly" with a Follow updates link to the issue, and you follow the issue automatically. A bug report you send is not published automatically: the team decides which bugs become known issues. Once staff triage a bug ticket it also shows its own bug status: Confirmed, In progress or Fixed.

Tips#

  • Check the list before opening a bug ticket; if the problem is there, follow it instead.
  • Fixed issues stay listed under Fixed, so you can confirm a fix shipped. The The Changelog lists what has shipped.
  • Ideas for new features belong on Suggestions on the Website, not here.
