Buying on the Marketplace means paying the listed price in gems and receiving the cosmetic straight into your collection. You can buy a specific listing right away, or leave a buy order that purchases a cosmetic for you the moment someone lists it at a price you accept.
You need to be signed in (Signing In to the Website) and not under an active ban or blacklist. Signed-out visitors see a disabled Log in to Buy button; restricted accounts see Trading Restricted.
Buy a listing now#
- Open a cosmetic's page (Browsing the Marketplace) or a card in the catalog.
- Click Buy Now on the listing you want. On a card, Buy from <price> (Quick Buy) buys the cheapest listing of that cosmetic; the dialog first looks up the lowest listing and shows who the seller is.
- In the Confirm Purchase dialog, read "You are about to purchase <cosmetic> from <seller> for <price>". Your balance is shown under it.
- Click Confirm & Buy.
- The site says "Cosmetic purchased successfully! It's now in your inventory." and opens your Collection (Your Collection, Loadouts and Wishlist).
The price you pay is the listing price. Only the seller pays the sale fee (Selling on the Marketplace).
If you are short on gems#
When your balance is lower than the price, the dialog says how many gems you are short and swaps the button to Top up gems. Choose it to open the gem purchase window with the smallest gem package that covers the shortfall; when the gems arrive the purchase dialog reopens so you can finish where you left off (The Website Store). The same happens if the balance changed between opening the dialog and confirming ("Not enough gems").
Purchase errors#

A seller's ban or blacklist does not stop you from buying a listing they already created.
Buy orders#
A buy order says "buy this cosmetic for me if it is listed at or below this price". It is the way to get a cosmetic nobody is selling right now, or to buy at a price you choose without watching the market.
Place a buy order#
- Open the cosmetic's page and click Place Buy Order (shown under the price panel, or alone when there are no listings).
- Enter Max Price, the most you will pay.
- For skins you can set Minimum Enchant Level (optional), from 2 to 10. The order then only fills with skins whose highest custom enchant is at that level or higher. Leave it blank to accept any skin.
- Click Place Order at <price>.
The site confirms "Your buy order for <price> will fill automatically when a matching listing appears."

How an order fills#
- When a new listing of that cosmetic appears at or below your max price (and meets your enchant level), the order fills automatically.
- If several orders match one listing, the order with the highest max price fills first; on a tie, the older order wins. Your own listings never fill your own orders.
- You pay the listing price, not your max price. The difference is refunded to your balance straight away.
- Orders from players under an active ban or blacklist are skipped and stay open.
- Orders match only when a listing is created. A cosmetic that is already listed at your price is not bought retroactively, and lowering the price of an existing listing does not fill an order either, so use Buy Now for those.
Manage your orders#
Open Offers & Orders > My Buy Orders. Active shows orders waiting to fill, and Past Orders shows Filled and Cancelled ones. Click Cancel & Refund on an active order to get the escrowed gems back at once ("Buy order cancelled and funds refunded"). Filled orders cannot be cancelled. While your account has an active ban or blacklist you cannot cancel orders either, so the gems stay escrowed until it ends.

The Buy Orders panel on each cosmetic's page lists the current open orders with their max prices, so you can see demand before you list.
