Teleporting between players uses requests: you ask, the other player accepts, and only then does anything move. Several other commands move you to saved or fixed places.
Teleport requests#
| Command | Aliases | Effect |
|---|---|---|
/tpa <player> | Ask to teleport to that player | |
/tpahere <player> | Ask that player to teleport to you | |
/tpaccept [player] | /tpaaccept, /tpyes | Accept a /tpa request. Without a name it answers your pending request |
/tpahereaccept [player] | /tpaccepthere, /tpaaccepthere | Accept a /tpahere request |
/tpadeny [player] | /tpano | Deny a /tpa request |
/tpaheredeny [player] | /tpadenyhere | Deny a /tpahere request |
/tpacancel <player> | Cancel a /tpa request you sent | |
/tpaherecancel <player> | /tpacancelhere | Cancel a /tpahere request you sent |
/tpatoggle | /tptoggle | Stop or resume receiving teleport requests |
/tpignore <player> | Ignore teleport requests from one player | |
/tpunignore <player> | Stop ignoring a player's requests | |
/tpignorelist | /tpignores | List the players whose requests you ignore |
How a request works#
- You run
/tpa <player>. You see "Teleport request sent to <player>!". - The other player receives "<you> wants to teleport to you! Type /tpaccept <you> or click here to accept!" and can click the message.
- If they accept, you see "<player> has accepted your teleport request!" and you teleport. If they deny, you are told.
- A request expires after 30 seconds. You cannot send a second request to the same player while one is pending ("Teleport already requested! Please wait a moment!").
Common messages: "You cannot teleport to yourself!", "<player> isn't online!", "That player disabled their teleport requests!", "That player is ignoring your teleport requests!".
On Lifesteal there is a 3 second warm-up after accepting during which moving or taking damage cancels the teleport. See Homes.
/back#
/back returns you to a place you were before. It opens a menu of your saved locations, each with its coordinates and type (teleport or death), and teleports you to the one you click.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Cooldown | 20 seconds between uses ("You are on cooldown for ...") |
| Saved locations | 3 by default; higher donor ranks save more (see Donor Ranks) |
| What is saved | Locations you teleported from and places you died. On Lifesteal only deaths are saved |
| Safety | The game searches nearby for a safe spot ("Couldn't find a safe location near that previous location.") |
/back is a rank perk. Skyblock gives it from Stone, Lifesteal from Lord, and Survival from Axolotl. Higher ranks also unlock /back death on Lifesteal to jump straight to your last death spot. The exact numbers of saved locations are in the rank perk lists on Donor Ranks.
Spawn#
/spawn sends you to the spawn of the gamemode you are on ("Sending you to spawn..."). On Lifesteal the usual warm-up applies.
Vertical teleports#
Higher ranks unlock /top (teleports to the highest block above you) and /bottom (the lowest block below you). The rank information menus list them as follows:
| Gamemode | /bottom | /top |
|---|---|---|
| Skyblock | Diamond and Emerald | Emerald |
| Survival | Strider | Hoglin and Strider |
Warps and homes#
Server warps are covered on Warps, and homes on Homes. Random teleport commands are specific to each gamemode and are described on that gamemode's pages.
