Signing In to the Website

The two ways to sign in to the Netherite website, with Microsoft or with a one-time code from in game, and how the Java or Bedrock edition choice works.

You sign in to the Netherite website to use your profile, messages, friends list, tickets, appeals and other account features. There are two ways in: your Microsoft account, or a one-time code you get in game.

Method 1: Microsoft sign-in#

  1. Open the website sign-in page and choose the Microsoft button.
  2. Sign in on Microsoft's own page. The site only checks your Xbox Live identity and that you own Minecraft Java or Bedrock Edition. It never sees your password.
  3. If your Microsoft account has joined the network on both editions, choose one on the Choose your edition screen (see below).
  4. You land back on the site, signed in. Your session lasts 7 days.

Method 2: in-game code#

  1. In game, type /web login.
  2. The game prints an 8-digit login code and a clickable link. The code is valid for 5 minutes.
  3. Click the link, or open the sign-in page and enter the code.

To end every website session for your account, type /web logout in game. The game confirms that all web login sessions were cleared.

Choosing your edition#

If your Microsoft account has played on both Java and Bedrock, the site shows two cards, one for each profile with its in-game name. Pick the profile you want to use. If only one edition has ever joined the server, that edition is chosen for you. To use the other edition later, sign out and sign in again.

Bedrock names show a leading dot, for example .YourGamertag (Joining on Bedrock Edition).
