Game Mode Landing Pages

Each of the four game modes has a website landing page with a copyable join address, a live network player count, a stats strip, gameplay highlights, how to play, features, an FAQ and site links.

Every Netherite game mode has its own landing page on the website: a short introduction to the mode, the address to join it and links to the features around it. They are the pages new players find first and the place to send a friend who asks what a mode is. The detailed guides live on this wiki: Getting Started on Lifesteal, Getting Started on Skyblock, Getting Started on Survival and Getting Started with Prison.

Where to find them#

Open the Game modes menu in the top bar and choose Lifesteal, Skyblock, Survival or Prison, or click a mode on the home page (Home Page and Site Navigation). The same menu has All server addresses, which lists every mode's address together, and How to join (How to Join and Server Addresses).

What each page contains#

All four pages share one layout:

SectionWhat you get
HeroThe mode name, a one-line introduction, a breadcrumb back to the home page and a live count of players across the whole network ("N playing across Netherite"), refreshed every 30 seconds
Join panelServer address: the mode's direct address, which you click to copy, a Show me how to join button and the line "Bedrock port 19132 / No whitelist"
At a glanceA strip of headline facts about the mode, such as that it is free to join and crossplay between Java and Bedrock
GameplayCards describing what makes the mode different
How to playShort walkthrough sections you expand by clicking, and a Watch the tutorials link (Guides, Rules and Video Tutorials)
FeaturesColumns of feature names with one-line descriptions
FAQQuestions players commonly ask about the mode, each expanded by clicking
Join"Join <mode>" with the same join panel again
More to exploreLinks to How to join, Marketplace, Leaderboard, Vote for rewards and Store, and buttons for the other three modes

The copy on these pages is a short introduction to each mode. For exact numbers, odds and rules use the wiki guides for the mode and the in-game menus. For example, the weekly clan payouts named on the Lifesteal page are paid in gems to the leader of each winning clan; see Clan Leaderboard and Points for the amounts.

The join guide#

Show me how to join opens a step-by-step guide:

  1. "What do you play on?": pick Java (PC / Mac) or Bedrock (Mobile / Console / PC).
  2. Bedrock players then pick a device: Mobile / PC or Console (Xbox / PlayStation; console needs an extra app).
  3. Follow the numbered steps. Steps that need the address or the Bedrock port have their own Copy buttons. Use Next and Back to move between steps.
  4. Click I'm in! on the last step. Back to site closes the guide.

The steps are the same as on the How to join page (How to Join and Server Addresses).

Prison has no leaderboard category and no section on player profiles; the website's leaderboards cover Lifesteal, Survival, Skyblock and network-wide boards (Website Leaderboards).

Tips#

  • Click the address to copy it rather than typing it. Bedrock players also need the port, 19132.
  • The player count is for the whole network, not one mode; see Network Status Page for server health.
  • New to a mode? Read its getting-started guide before joining.
