Browsing is how you find a cosmetic on the Marketplace before you buy, sell or offer on it. The home page shows what is moving right now, the catalog lists every cosmetic that exists, the collection browser groups them by release, and each cosmetic has its own page with prices, history and listings. Everything here is open to signed-out visitors; signing in adds the Owned filter and the wishlist button.
Marketplace home#
The home page (Marketplace in the top bar) is built from these parts, top to bottom:
- Search cosmetics... box. Type a name and a drop-down shows up to 8 matches with the type and whether any are listed ("No listings" if none). Pick one to open its page.
- Market Pulse: total listed value, 24h trades, 24h trade value and active listings (The Website Marketplace).
- Browse cosmetics: tabs for Skins, Tags, Chat Colors, Kill Tags, Join Messages, Trails, Arrow Trails, Hats, Backmounts, Pets, Kill Effects and Furniture, with the filters in the table below.
- Live Activity: a feed beside the cosmetics (below them on a phone) of sales, new listings, price changes, removed or expired listings and gifts, refreshed every 10 seconds.
Two links sit at the top: Browse all cosmetics (the full catalog) and Explore collections. The same two appear again at the bottom as View All Cosmetics and Browse Collections.
The website's front page (Home Page and Site Navigation) has its own Marketplace block with the same Market Pulse, a Trending row (up to 12 of the most-traded cosmetics of the last 7 days, with their 7-day price change) and a Recently sold row (the 12 cosmetics that sold most recently, each showing how many are still listed or "Sold out").
Browse by type filters#
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Type | One of the twelve cosmetic types. |
| Rarity | Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic. |
| Collection | All Collections, a specific collection, or Not in a Collection. |
| Sort by | Most listings, Recently listed, Price: low to high, Price: high to low, Name (A-Z). |
| Min price and Max price | Limits in gems. |
When nothing matches the page says "No cosmetics match".
All cosmetics (catalog)#
Browse all cosmetics lists every cosmetic, one section per type, with the count at the top ("Browse through N unique cosmetics available for trade"). Cosmetics released as part of a drop are grouped under that drop's name, newest drop first, and the rest appear under "Other". Each card shows the cheapest price and listing count, with a Buy from <price> quick-buy button when something is listed.
| Control | Options |
|---|---|
| Search cosmetics | Part of a name. |
| Filter by drop | All Drops, one drop, or Other (No Drop). |
| Filter by category | Tools, Weapons, Armor, Tags, Chat Colors, Kill Tags, Join Messages, Particle Trails, Backmounts, Hats, Pets, Kill Effects, Furniture. |
| Sort cosmetics | By Name (default), By Listing Count, By Last Listing, By Last Offer, By Last Sale. |
| Ownership (signed in) | All, Owned, Not Owned. Owned cosmetics carry an Owned badge. |
The address keeps your filters, so you can share a filtered view or come back to it.
Collections#
Explore collections lists every cosmetic collection, usually a seasonal drop or crate release, with its release date, number of items, how many are listed and, when you are signed in, your progress ("3/10 owned" and a Complete mark).
- Search matches a collection name or any item inside it.
- Sort: Newest, Name or Progress (Progress only appears when your progress is known).
- Progress filter: All, Incomplete, Complete.
- A collection that includes items the site cannot track shows "Full progress in-game".
Click a collection to open the catalog filtered to it. Collection progress also shows on Player Profiles.
A cosmetic's page#
Click a cosmetic card or a search result to open that cosmetic's own page. From the top:
- Type badge (hover for what the type does), rarity badge, and a Discontinued badge when every collection the cosmetic belongs to was released more than 90 days ago.
- Wishlist bookmark and Share buttons (Your Collection, Loadouts and Wishlist).
- Lowest Price with the number of listings, a Buy Now button and Place Buy Order (Buying on the Marketplace). With no listings it says "No Active Listings. Check back later or place a buy order."
- For skins with custom enchants, a "Lvl N: from <price>" line per enchant level.
- Owners: how many players own it, with a list.
- Collection: the drops it belongs to.
- Loan links: how many active loan proposals use it as collateral, and Use as collateral if you own it (The Loan Marketplace).
Rarity#
| Tier | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Common | Easy to pull from crates; usually cheap and plentiful. |
| Uncommon | Takes a few crate rolls. |
| Rare | Real effort to pull; supply stays limited. |
| Epic | A lucky pull. |
| Legendary | Extremely low pull rate. |
| Mythic | Near-zero pull rate or one-time only; the rarest items. |
Rarity is the tier set for each cosmetic; the descriptions above are how the site explains each tier. A cosmetic without a set tier gets an estimate from its lowest listing price.
Price history and recent sales#
The Price History chart plots sale prices over 7D, 30D, 90D or ALL and shows Latest, Change, Low and High, with a dashed line for the average. Before any sale it says "No trade history yet". Recent Sales lists past sales with price and time.
Active listings#
Under Active Listings (N) you can sort by Cheapest First, Most Expensive, Newest First or Oldest First. Skins with custom enchants also get All Levels and Lvl N chips to filter by the highest custom enchant level. Each row shows:
- the seller (click for their profile) and how long ago it was listed,
- the time left: "expires in 12d", "expires tomorrow" or "expires in 5h", highlighted when it is close (a listing expires 30 days after it was created and returns to the seller),
- the cosmetic's custom enchants, with the highest one as a badge,
- the price, and when at least two comparable listings exist, "N% below avg" or "N% above avg" compared with listings that have the same enchants,
- Buy Now and Make Offer buttons. Counter Offers (N) shows offers other players made on that listing.
Only custom enchants count here; vanilla Minecraft enchantments are ignored.
Buy orders#
The Buy Orders section lists the open buy orders for this cosmetic, each with its max price and the date it was placed (buyers' names are not shown). See Buying on the Marketplace.
Tips#
- Sort the catalog by By Last Sale to find cosmetics that are actually selling, and by By Listing Count to find ones with a lot of supply.
- Compare the percentage below or above average before buying a skin with enchants; the same skin with a different enchant level is a different market.
- A cosmetic nobody lists can still be reached with a buy order or a direct offer.
