Gifts

Send the item in your hand to any player with /gift <player>, even when they are offline. They claim it from the /gift menu.

Available on Skyblock, Prison, Lifesteal and Survival.

Gifts let you send an item to another player for free. The item in your hand is sent to the player's gift box, and they claim it from /gift whenever they like, even if they were offline when you sent it.

Gifts work on Skyblock, Prison, Lifesteal and Survival. They are not available in the hub.

Commands#

/giftOpens the Gifts menu: your unclaimed gifts and gift settings
/gift <player>Sends the item in your main hand to that player
/gift historyOpens Gift History: gifts you sent and received

Sending a gift#

  1. Hold the item you want to send. The whole stack in your main hand is sent.
  2. Run /gift <player>.
  3. A confirmation window titled Gift to Player? shows the item. Click Confirm, or Cancel to keep it ("Gift cancelled.").
  4. The item leaves your hand: "You sent item to Player." If the player is online they see "Sender sent you a gift! Use /gift to claim it."

You can also click Send Gift (writable book) in the /gift menu and type the player's name. This path sends the item in your hand without the confirmation window.

If the item in your hand changes while the confirmation window is open, the gift is cancelled: "The item in your hand changed, so the gift was cancelled." If sending fails for any other reason, the item is put back in your inventory.

When a gift is refused#

MessageWhy
"You must hold an item in your hand."Your main hand is empty
"You cannot gift items to yourself."You typed your own name
"Could not find a player with that name."No player has that name
"That player has never joined this server."The player has not joined before
"That player has disabled receiving gifts."The player turned gifts off
"You are blocked from gifting that player."The player blocked you
"That player has too many unclaimed gifts."Their gift box is full (see below)
"Please wait before sending another gift."You tried again within 15 seconds

The 15-second wait starts with every send attempt, including attempts that are refused.

Some protected items, such as a Pirate Cove Treasure Map, cannot be gifted.

Gift box limit#

Each player can hold a limited number of unclaimed gifts. When a player's box is full, nobody can send them more until they claim some. The default is 5 unclaimed gifts.

Claiming gifts#

Open /gift. Each gift shows the item and who sent it.

  • Click a gift to claim it ("Gift claimed successfully."). If it does not fit in your inventory, the rest drops at your feet.
  • Claim All (chest) asks for confirmation (Claim All Gifts?), then claims as many gifts as you have free inventory slots: "Claimed 3 gifts." Items that do not fit are dropped at your feet. With no free slot at all you get "You don't have enough inventory space to claim these gifts."

Gifts wait in your box until you claim them.

Gift History#

Each entry shows the item, Sent to or Received from with the other player's name, the date, and the status: Claimed or Not claimed yet. If you have never sent or received a gift you get "You have not sent or received any gifts yet."
