The Gem Vault

The Gem Vault is a lifetime spending track with ten Vault Levels that each pay a one-time bonus of gems; this page explains how progress is counted and what the Vault panel on the Buy Gems page shows.

The Gem Vault rewards you for buying gems. Every completed gem purchase adds to a lifetime total called your Vault gems; each time that total crosses a level, you receive a one-time bonus of gems. Progress is saved to your account and never resets.

You see it on the Buy Gems page (The Website Store), where The Gem Vault panel shows your level and what the next one pays, and in the cart, which projects what your current bundle would unlock.

How progress is counted#

  • What counts: the amount you actually pay for gem packs, after discounts and coupons and before tax.
  • Rate: one Vault gem for every US cent, so 100 Vault gems for each $1.00 of net spend. Vault gems are a progress counter, not extra gems in your balance.
  • What does not count: bonus gems built into large packs or promotions, and the Vault bonuses themselves.
  • Only completed purchases count. The striped "With this cart" preview in the panel is an estimate; progress becomes permanent when the payment is completed.

Because discounts and coupons apply at checkout, a cart that looks like it reaches a level at listed prices can fall short once a coupon is taken off. The cart panel shows its estimate "before tax" and notes this.

The ten levels#

The panel lists ten levels, from Spark (1,000 Vault gems, which is $10 of lifetime spend) to Legacy (1,000,000 Vault gems, $10,000). Each level pays its bonus once, when you first reach it, and a purchase that jumps several levels pays every level it crossed. The full ladder with every threshold and bonus, and the in-game level-up messages, are on Gem Vault.

Reading the Vault panel#

The panel, headed The Gem Vault, shows your current level, the bonus waiting at the next one and a countdown "Vault gems to go". See all 10 levels opens the full list, with each level's threshold and bonus. A check marks a level you have reached and a lock one you have not; some rows also carry a tag:

Row tagMeaning
NextThe level you are working toward
With this cartYour current cart would unlock it
ProcessingYou reached it and the bonus is being credited
In reviewYou reached it and the reward is still being confirmed

With nothing spent the panel reads "No Vault gems yet. Your first pack starts your lifetime total." Signed-out visitors see the levels as a preview with "Sign in to track your Vault". Once every level is complete the panel shows a completion line.

In-game messages#

Reaching a level is also announced in game, and players close to their next level get a reminder with a link back to this panel. Both can be switched off in your in-game settings; the bonus is paid either way.

Tips#

  • Check the cart's Optional next-level route suggestion: it can show that adding one pack puts you over a level.
  • Bonus gems arrive in your normal gem balance and can be spent anywhere gems are used (Gems).
