The website has two pages that get you into the game: How to join with step-by-step guides for each edition, and Server addresses with the address of every game mode. Netherite is free to play, crossplays between Java and Bedrock in the same worlds, and has no whitelist. The in-game side of connecting, including versions and rules, is in Connecting to Netherite and Getting Started on Netherite.
The addresses#
| What | Address |
|---|---|
| Main address, Java and Bedrock | connect.netherite.gg |
| Bedrock port | 19132 |
| Lifesteal directly | lifesteal.netherite.gg |
| Skyblock directly | skyblock.netherite.gg |
| Survival directly | survival.netherite.gg |
| Prison directly | prison.netherite.gg |
Connect once at the main address and choose where to play from the hub, or use a game mode's own address to go straight there. Java players type just the address; Bedrock players also enter the port.
How to join page#
Open Play (the button in the top bar), Game modes > How to join or Join server on the home page. The page shows the main address with a copy button, "Bedrock port 19132 / Free to play / No whitelist", then Choose your edition:
| Edition | Devices | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Java Edition | PC and Mac | "Connect through Multiplayer" |
| Bedrock Edition | Mobile and Windows | "Add the server address and port" |
| Console | Xbox and PlayStation | "Connect with the BedrockTogether app" |
A Discord help link sits under the editions. A short Connection FAQ answers the common questions, with shortcuts to the live server status (Check live server health, see Network Status Page) and to Server addresses.
Java Edition#
- Open Minecraft and click Multiplayer.
- Click Add Server.
- Paste the server address into Server Address and click Done.
- Select the server in the list and click Join Server.
Bedrock Edition#
- Open Minecraft and tap Play.
- Open the Servers tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Add Server.
- Enter the server address and the port
19132. - Tap Save. The server appears in your list; tap it to join.
On an Android phone, How to join and the Bedrock guide also offer Add to Minecraft in one tap, which opens the Minecraft app with the server already filled in.
Console (Xbox and PlayStation)#
Consoles cannot add servers directly, so a phone or tablet on the same Wi-Fi acts as a bridge.
- Install the free BedrockTogether app on your phone.
- Open the app, enter the server address and port and start it with the green button.
- On your console open Minecraft and tap Play.
- Open the Friends tab and look under LAN Games at the bottom for the server.
- Tap it to join. Keep the app open on your phone for as long as you play.
Server addresses page#
Server addresses (Game modes > All server addresses, or the Server addresses link on the home page) repeats the main address and Bedrock port, then lists every game mode as a numbered entry with its description and its own address, each linking to that mode's page (Game Mode Landing Pages). The page ends with a short explanation of Java plus Bedrock crossplay and an FAQ.
After you join#
Run /web login in game to sign in to the website with a code (Signing In to the Website), and link Discord in Account Settings for Discord notifications and the free rank claim (The Website Store).
Tips#
- Cannot connect? Check the address and the game version, then look at Network Status Page.
- If the hub shows but a mode does not, use that mode's direct address.
- Still stuck: open a support ticket (Support Tickets on the Website) with your username and what you see.
