Coinflip lets you wager your balance against another player. One player opens a coinflip for an amount, a second player matches it, and a fair 50/50 flip decides who takes both wagers.

Rules per gamemode#
Coinflip runs on Skyblock, Prison, Lifesteal and Survival. It is not available in the hub.

Creating a coinflip#
- Run
/coinflip create, or open/coinflipand click How It Works (the gold nugget at the top). - A prompt titled Select Amount (Money) opens (Select Amount (Tokens) on Prison). Type the amount and confirm.
- The wager is taken from your balance immediately and your coinflip appears in the menu: "Created coinflip #id for amount."
Things to know:
- You can have one open coinflip at a time. Creating a second one fails with "You already have an active listing."
- You need the full amount in your balance ("You don't have enough funds to do this.").
- A wager below the minimum fails with "The wager amount is too low. The minimum is $10,000." A zero or unreadable amount gives "Invalid amount."
- Your coinflip stays open until someone plays it or you cancel it, including while you are offline.
- To cancel, open
/coinflipand click your own coinflip (Your Coinflip). Your wager is refunded: "Deleted your coinflip for amount."
Playing a coinflip#
- Open
/coinflipand click another player's coinflip (Player's Coinflip, "Click to play!"). - The same wager is taken from your balance. If you cannot afford it you get "You don't have enough funds to do this."
- Both players who are online see the Coinflip window: the two player heads alternate with a clicking sound for about 3 seconds, then the winner is shown as "Winner! Player".
- The winner reads "You won the coinflip and received amount." and the loser "You lost the coinflip and lost amount."
The winner is chosen fairly at random the moment the coinflip is played; the animation only reveals it. The winnings go straight to the winner's balance when the animation ends, even if they have closed the window or logged off.
If someone else played the coinflip a moment before you, you get "Could not find a coinflip listing with that ID." and nothing is taken.
Payout#
The winner receives both wagers (twice the wager). On Skyblock a 5% tax is taken from that pot first.

Coinflip History#
Every coinflip you played, newest first. Wins show as an emerald block and losses as a redstone block, each with the wager, the coinflip number, the winner, the loser and how long ago it was played. Go Back returns to Coinflip Stats.
Announcements#
On Skyblock, Lifesteal and Survival, coinflips are announced in chat:
- "Player created a $50,000 coinflip! (/cf)" when a coinflip is opened.
- "Winner won a $100,000 coinflip against Loser! (/cf)" when it is played. The amount in this message is the whole pot.
Prison token coinflips are not announced. You can hide these announcements with the Toggle Coinflip Wins option in the options menu.
