Servers and Gamemodes

The four Netherite gamemodes, the hub, their direct addresses and what each one is about.

Netherite runs a hub and four gamemodes. Every gamemode is open to Java and Bedrock players, free to join, and has its own progress, economy and seasons. Open the Server Selector in the hub to move between them.

The selector lists the modes in this order: Lifesteal, Survival, Skyblock, Prison.

Reaching a mode#

There are two ways in:

  1. Through the hub. Connect to connect.netherite.gg, open the Server Selector and click the mode. You arrive where you last left that mode, or at its spawn the first time.
  2. With the mode's address. Add the direct address from the table to your server list and connect. You skip the hub. You first appear in the mode's lobby for a moment and are then sent to your last location in that mode. If the mode is closed or unavailable you are placed in a hub instead.

Bedrock players use the same addresses with port 19132 (Joining on Bedrock Edition).

What each mode shares with the network#

All modes share your account, name, gems, website profile, private messages, Discord link and punishments. Inventory, progress and in-game money are kept per mode. See the network overview.

Seasons#

Each gamemode runs in seasons. The Server Selector shows an Age for every mode, which is the time since that mode's current season started. Season length and what resets at the end are different in each mode, so check the mode's own guide.

The hub#

The hub is not a gamemode. It is the spawn area every player arrives in when using the main address, with the selector items and a few movement toys. See Getting Started in the Hub.

Server status#

The website's uptime page shows whether the network is healthy. If a mode is down for a restart, the lobby holds you until it returns.
