Giveaways let any player put up their own Gems for the rest of the network. You choose the pot and the number of winners, everyone online gets one minute to enter, and the winners are drawn at random and paid automatically. There is only ever one giveaway running across the whole network, and it can be started or entered from the hub, Skyblock, Prison, Lifesteal and Survival.

Starting a giveaway#
- Run
/giveaway start. A Giveaway Setup prompt asks for the Gems Amount. The box starts at 5, so replace it with your pot of at least 200 Gems. - A second prompt asks for the number of Winners (1 to 50; it starts at 1).
- A Confirm Giveaway menu repeats your amount and number of winners and asks "Are you sure you want to proceed?". Click Yes, start the giveaway to go ahead or Cancel to stop. Closing a prompt also cancels.
- The full pot is taken from your Gems the moment the giveaway starts. Every player on the network sees your name, the pot and the number of winners, followed by "Type /giveaway join to enter!".

Entering a giveaway#
Type /giveaway join while a giveaway is running. Entering is free. Each entry is announced in chat, for example "→ Steve entered the giveaway!".
- You can enter once per giveaway ("You have already entered the giveaway!").
- Only one player per IP address can enter. If someone on your connection already entered, you see: "A player on your IP has already entered the giveaway! We only allow one entry per IP address, this is to prevent alt accounts from joining."
- With no giveaway running you get "There is no active giveaway!".
The draw and payouts#
The giveaway closes 1 minute after it starts. Winners are drawn at random from everyone who entered, and nobody can win twice in the same draw.
- A 1% fee is taken from the pot. The rest is split evenly between the winners and rounded down, then paid straight into their Gems.
- Each winner is announced to the whole network with their name and prize: "… won … in the giveaway! Congratulations!", followed by a reminder that anyone can start their own with
/giveaway start. - If fewer players enter than the number of winners you chose, nobody wins: "Not enough participants entered the giveaway, no winners were drawn." You get your whole pot back, with no fee.

Giveaway history#
/giveaway history opens Giveaway History - All, a paged menu of every giveaway, newest first. Add a player name, for example /giveaway history Steve, to see only the giveaways that player started.
Each giveaway is shown as a cake with:
- Giveaway: #12: the giveaway's number
- Started By: the player who put up the pot
- Amount: the pot before the fee
- Winners: how many winners it was set up for
- Ended At: when it closed, or N/A while it is still running
Click a giveaway to open Giveaway Winners, which shows a head for each winner. A giveaway that is still running or was refunded has no winners, and clicking it shows "There are no winners for the giveaway." Use the arrows in the bottom corners to change page.
