What is a Minecraft Survival Server (SMP)?

A Minecraft Survival Server — also called an SMP, short for Survival Multiplayer — is a shared online world running survival mode, where you gather resources, build a base, fight mobs and survive nightfall alongside other players. We mean SMP, not the Hunger-Games-style survival games minigame.

Netherite's survival is semi-vanilla at heart but built around towns and a player economy. You spawn in, /rtp out into a 20,000 × 20,000 overworld plus the Nether, End and regenerating resource worlds, then claim land, earn money and trade. There's always fresh terrain and ore to find.

It's a no-whitelist, crossplay Minecraft survival multiplayer world: jump straight in from Java or Bedrock, including mobile and console, and share the same map. Free to join, with a map that doesn't wipe out from under your town.

Survival Features: Towns, Land Claims & Player Shops

Found or join a Town with a custom tag color, banner and name. A Mayor leads, promotes Deputies and manages members, permissions, warps and a shared Town Vault. Pool money to upgrade limits — members 10 → 15 → 20, warps 3 → 5 → 10, and a vault that grows to 6 rows at the top tier. Every town builds Town Value tracked on a live leaderboard.

This is a survival server with economy at its core. Open your own chest shops anywhere with floating holograms showing owner, item, price and live stock; list gear on the Auction House; post item Orders other players fill for cash; and buy or sell claimed land on the Claim Market. Land claims across three worlds keep your builds grief-proof with per-claim permissions.

Progression is the grind, not the wallet. Push 50 spawner and mob milestones for money, mob-points and Legendary enchant runes, level the /skills system as you play, and roll from 100+ custom enchants. Watch it all unfold on the live web map at map.netherite.gg.

How to Join Our Minecraft Survival Server (Crossplay IP)

Every week (resets Wednesday) the top three towns and the top three solo earners take gift-card payouts. Seasonal themed build competitions run in-game too, with a swipe-to-rate voting GUI; the current theme is Fantasy.
