The Store lets you spend gems on Survival products, and the Survival ranks are permanent upgrades that raise your limits and unlock commands. This page covers what is specific to Survival. How gems and the Store work on every mode is on Store and Gems, and the rank overview is on Donor Ranks.
The Store menu#
Run /store (aliases /gemstore, /gems-store) to open the Store menu. The store loads its catalog first; if it cannot load you see The store couldn't load right now. Please try again in a moment.
- Categories are shown with the number of products in each and any sale. Click a category to browse its products.
- Products show their gem price, any sale or VIP discount, and whether you already own them or have reached the purchase limit. Click a product to see the confirmation screen; packs of different sizes open a pack picker.
- Confirm Purchase shows the price, your balance before and after, and the price you pay with discounts. Click Confirm Purchase to pay.
Purchased <product> for <price> gems!confirms it. If the price changed (a sale started or ended) you are asked to confirm again. - Your Gems (the emerald) shows your balance and refreshes it when clicked.
Sunflower Buy Gems points you to the website to top up your gems.
- Some free items can only be claimed on the website; these show the steps to finish there.
- Ranks you already own, or that are lower than one you own, are marked as owned. Buying a higher rank shows an upgrade price with the cost of your current rank credited, and
Upgraded to <rank> for <price> gemsconfirms it.
Other commands:

Survival ranks#
Survival has six permanent ranks, from lowest to highest: Axolotl, Allay, Glare, Illusioner, Hoglin and Strider. Ranks are bought in the Store; players without a rank are reminded in chat that an entry rank can be claimed for free on the website (free rank claims). Each rank has its own information menu, and higher ranks list the perks of the ranks below them with higher limits. The network-wide Netherite rank sits above Strider and includes the Strider perks; see Netherite Rank.
