XP Finder is a Legendary enchant for weapons and tools: swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes and shears. It raises the experience you get from the blocks you break and the mobs you kill.
How to get it#
XP Finder comes from the Legendary rune. A Legendary rune costs 200,000 XP in the enchant shop and turns into an enchanted book with one of the 31 Legendary enchants in Survival, picked at random, so each rune has a 1 in 31 chance of being XP Finder. Effect#
XP Finder has no chance roll; it works every time. While the enchanted item is in your main hand, the experience that drops from a block you break or a mob you kill is increased by 5% per level. The new amount is rounded down.
Because of the rounding, very small drops gain little or nothing at low levels.

Notes and tips#
- It changes only the experience dropped by blocks (for example ores) and by mobs.
- If the same item also carries XP Telekinesis, the boosted amount is what is added to your total.
- The level of XP Finder in your main hand is the one that counts, so keep it on the tool you actually use.
