The Condenser Wand compresses the items in a container into storage blocks: ingots into blocks, gems into blocks and other items that can be crafted into a compact block and back. Right-click a container and the loose stacks shrink into far fewer items.
How to get it#
In Survival the Condenser Wand comes from the store, which sells a permanent Infinite Condense Wand with unlimited uses (see Store).
How to use it#
- Hold the wand and look at a chest, barrel, shulker box or similar container.
- Right-click the container.
- Every item that can be compressed is turned into its block form. Chat shows "Condensed N items into M items."
Only complete sets are condensed: if you have 20 iron ingots you get 2 iron blocks and keep 2 ingots. The wand only condenses items that have a reversible compression recipe in the game (an item that crafts into a block and the block back into the same number of items).
If nothing can be condensed the wand says "There are no items this wand can use." and no use is spent. If you do not look at a container it says "You must be looking at a container to use this wand."
Filter menu#
Condensing uses your personal condense filter. The filter menu lists every condensable item; click an item to include it or exclude it. Excluded items are skipped. The menu shows "Will be condensed" or "Will NOT be condensed" on each item.
Uses and limits#
- Every successful use spends one use; Infinite wands are never used up.
- Wands do not stack.
