Spawners

How spawners work on Survival: buy them with mob points, place and stack them, upgrade them and kill the mobs they produce.

Spawners are Survival's mob farms. You earn mob points by killing wild mobs, spend them in the Spawner Shop to buy a spawner for a specific mob, place it, and the spawner then fills the area around it with a growing stack of that mob for you to kill. Spawners can be stacked into a single block, upgraded, and moved around with a Silk Touch tool.

How it fits together#

  1. Earn mob points by killing naturally spawned mobs. Harder mobs pay more. See Mob Points.
  2. Buy a spawner in the Spawner Shop (/spawners) for 100,000 to 600,000 mob points, depending on the mob. See Obtaining Spawners.
  3. Place it inside a claim you own or are a guest of. Placing another spawner of the same type against it stacks them, up to 64 in one block. See Spawner Stacking.
  4. Right-click the placed spawner to open its panel: withdraw spawners from the stack, buy upgrades, or check its status. See Spawner Upgrades.
  5. Kill the mobs it produces. They appear as one mob that shows a stack count, and drops and experience fall at the mob. See Spawner Production and Drops.
  6. Earn milestone rewards for long-term activity; they are paid automatically and /milestones shows your progress. See Spawner Milestones.
