Spawners on Lifesteal are managed spawners. You buy a spawner for a mob type, place it, and it spawns that mob on a timer. When the mobs die, their drops and experience go into the spawner's own storage, which you empty from its panel. Up to 64 spawners of one mob stack in a single block, stacks take money upgrades, and they can switch to a virtual mode that produces loot without spawning any mobs.
The basics#
- Buy a spawner in the Spawners category of
/shop(/spawnershopalso opens the shop). See Obtaining Spawners. - Place it like a block. Place more of the same type against it to stack them. See Stacking Spawners.
- Stand within 32 blocks. Every 30 seconds the spawner adds mobs to its mob stack, and when you kill them their drops and XP are stored in the spawner. See Production Modes.
- Right-click the spawner to open its panel, collect the storage and buy upgrades. See Spawner Storage and Spawner Upgrades.
- Sell what you collected in the shop, or use
/spawner sell. See Selling Spawner Drops.
The spawner panel#
Right-click a placed spawner (with no spawner item in your hand) to open the Lifesteal Spawner panel. It shows:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Info | The mob, stack size, mode, storage and XP. |
| Collect storage | Moves the stored items and XP into your inventory. |
| Production mode | Switches between physical and virtual production. Only shown for mobs that have a virtual loot table. |
| Buy this spawner | Opens the shop purchase screen for this mob's spawner, if the shop sells it. |
| Upgrades | Opens the Spawner Upgrades menu. |
| Withdraw 1, half, custom amount, all | Splits spawners off the stack into items. |
| Close | Closes the panel. |
Anyone can open the panel, collect its storage and buy upgrades for it. Only the owner can switch the mode or withdraw spawners; a spawner with no owner can be managed by anyone.
Above a placed spawner a hologram shows the mob, the stack size, the mode, the status (Active or Paused) and how many items and how much XP are stored.

Danger: anyone can raid a spawner#
Lifesteal has no land claims. Another player can open the panel of your spawner, collect its stored items and XP, and pick the spawner up if they have Silk Touch or a Spawner Wrench. Whoever places a spawner becomes its owner, so a stolen spawner belongs to the thief once it is placed again. Place spawners somewhere hidden or defended, and empty the storage often. See picking up and theft.
