Selling spawner drops turns a spawner's stored items into money without taking them into your inventory. Look at one of your spawners (within 8 blocks) and run /spawner sell.
How it works#
- All stored items are taken out of the spawner's storage.
- The shop buys every item it has a sell price for, at the same price you would get selling it in
/shop. Sell prices change with demand. See demand-based sell prices. - Money is paid to you, and you see "Sold
<n>stored item(s) for<amount>." - Anything the shop does not buy goes back into the spawner's storage, or drops at the spawner if it no longer fits.
Messages:
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| "This spawner has no stored items to sell." | Storage is empty. |
| "No stored items were eligible for sale." | The shop buys none of the stored items. |
| "Look at a managed spawner first." | You are not looking at a spawner within 8 blocks. |
| "You do not own this spawner." | Only the owner can sell from it. |
The command does not collect or sell stored XP. Collect it with the panel or /spawner collect. See Spawner Storage.
Sell prices#
Most spawner drops sell in the shop's Mob Drops category:
Sell prices follow demand, between 1% and 300% of the listed price.

The other spawner drops sell in other categories: Raw Beef and Raw Porkchop in Food ($1 each before demand) and Iron Ingot in Ores ($20 each before demand). The shop does not buy Ender Pearls, so /spawner sell leaves them in storage. See Shop and Selling for every category and Virtual Mob Drops for what each mob produces.
