The shop is the server's own market on Lifesteal. You sell loot to it for Money and buy supplies from it, including Hearts, spawners, netherite gear and potions. Every price is in Money, and sell prices move with demand.
Opening the shop#
Run /shop to open the Shop Menu, or /shop <category> to jump straight to one category. Click an item to open its buy or sell menu, choose how many with the amount buttons and confirm. /shophistory lists your recent shop transactions.
| Category | Contains |
|---|---|
| Gear | Netherite armor, sword and axe, and a trident |
| Ores | Ores, ingots and ore blocks |
| Blocks | 146 building blocks |
| Food | Golden apples, enchanted golden apples and sellable meat |
| Potions | 97 potions |
| Enchanted Books | 37 enchantment books |
| Misc | Hearts, Ability Pouch keys, buckets, beacons, brewing supplies |
| Farming | Crops, seeds and saplings |
| Fishing | Fish and ink sacs |
| Spawners | Spawner Wrench and eight mob spawners |
| Mob Drops | Sell-only mob drops |
The category ids you can type after /shop are gear, ores, blocks, food, potions, enchants, misc, farming, fishing, spawners and mobdrops. Capital letters do not matter.
Selling#
| Command | What it sells |
|---|---|
/sell or /sell hand (alias /sell h) | The stack in your main hand. |
/sell handall | Every item in your inventory that matches the item in your main hand. |
/sell all | Every sellable item in your inventory. This is a rank perk; the in-game rank menus list it from Lord upward. |
You can also sell from a category menu: the sell menu lets you pick an amount or sell your whole inventory of that item. After a sale the game prints "You have sold x{amount} {item} for {price}!" and, if you sold several kinds of item, a "Total" line.
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| You don't have anything you can sell in your hand! | The item in your hand is not in the shop, or your hand is empty. |
| Not enough items to sell! | Nothing in your inventory can be sold. |
| Not enough money! | You cannot afford the purchase. |
| Not enough space in your inventory! | Free up a slot first. |
Prices in the menu#
Every item shows its prices in its description:
| Line | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Buy price | What the shop charges you for one item. |
| Base sell price | The fixed price before demand is applied. |
| Demand modifier | How far demand is pushing the sell price up or down, as a percentage. |
| Demand modified price | The price you will actually be paid right now. |
Items that cannot be bought show only their sell prices, and items that cannot be sold show only a buy price. The website's Market page for Lifesteal charts the same prices live (see Market Data Pages); see Shop for how the shop works across the network.
Demand-based sell prices#
Lifesteal uses demand pricing. The shop compares how much of an item players sold in the last 50 minutes with how much was sold in the 50 minutes before that, and recalculates the sell price every 10 minutes.
- Selling more than before lowers the price. If sales double, the price drops by about 20%, and the biggest possible drop is about 40%.
- Selling less than before raises it, up to +200% on top of the base price.
- An item nobody is selling gets a small incentive of roughly +4% to +20%, so unpopular items recover.
- The shop never pays more than it charges. For items that can be bought and sold, the sell price is capped at the buy price.
An active sell booster adds its bonus to your sell price, up to a maximum of +100%.

- Heart: sold in Misc for $25,000 each. See Hearts for what a Heart does and the limits on how many you can hold.
