Hearts#
How many hearts do I start with?#
You start with 10 hearts, which is a normal health bar of 20 HP. Your hearts show on the scoreboard as Lives. See Hearts.
How do I gain hearts?#
Kill another player and you receive a Heart item. Right-click it to add one heart. You can also buy Hearts for $25,000 each in the /shop Misc category, craft one from 8 diamond blocks around an apple, claim them in kits, or find them as crate rewards. See Heart.
How many hearts can I have at most?#
25 hearts. Each prestige level adds one more, up to 5 levels, for a maximum of 30. See Prestige.
How do I lose hearts?#
You lose 1 heart every time you die, from players, mobs or the environment. If your combat logger is killed while you are offline you lose a heart too. See Gaining and Losing Hearts.
What happens when I reach 0 hearts?#
You are kicked and banned from Lifesteal. The ban is 1 day by default and shorter with a paid rank, down to 30 minutes. When it ends you return with 10 hearts. See Elimination.
Can I be revived early?#
No. There is no revive item or command. The ban ends when its timer runs out.
Can I withdraw a heart into an item?#
Yes. /lives withdraw turns one heart into a Heart item. You must have more than 10 hearts. See Withdrawing Hearts.
What does /prestige do?#
It trades 15 hearts for a permanent extra heart slot, which raises your maximum. You need more than 15 hearts. See Prestige.
Does prestige reset when I am eliminated?#
No. Elimination resets your hearts to 10 but keeps your prestige level.
What if I redeem a Heart when I am at my maximum?#
Nothing is consumed and you see that you have reached your limit. Keep the Heart until you have room. See Heart.
How does the heart coinflip work?#
/lives coinflip <amount> is a 50% chance to win. A win pays 2 Heart items for every heart wagered; a loss costs the wager. You must keep at least 10 hearts, and there is a 5 second cooldown. See Heart Coinflip.
Combat#
What is the combat tag?#
Hitting or being hit by a player tags you for 30 seconds. While tagged you cannot use commands (except /msg), enter safe zones, use End portals or glide with an elytra. See Combat Tag.
What happens if I log out during a fight?#
A combat logger villager stays behind for 30 seconds with your inventory. If it survives you keep everything. If someone kills it your items drop and you lose a heart. See Combat Tag.
Are there cooldowns on ender pearls and golden apples?#
Yes: ender pearls 20 seconds, golden apples 3 seconds, enchanted golden apples 30 seconds, Riptide tridents 7 seconds and spear lunges 10 seconds. Chorus fruit teleporting is disabled, and mace smash damage is capped at 30. See PvP Cooldowns and Restrictions.
Where is it safe from PvP?#
Safe zones are marked areas where players cannot be hurt. You cannot enter one while combat tagged. See Safe Zones.
Can I turn PvP off?#
No. There is no PvP toggle on Lifesteal. Stay in safe zones, or avoid fights.
Who gets the items when I die?#
Whoever picks them up. The player who killed you has the first 15 seconds to take them. See Combat Tag.
What are ability items?#
Consumable combat powers such as a full heal or a damage boost. You get one at random from an Ability Pouch, bought for $500,000 in /shop Misc. Each ability has 5 uses. See Ability Items.
How do I check my kills and deaths?#
Use /pvpstats, /kills, /deaths and /killhistory. The leaderboards are /killtop and /killtop weekly. See Kill Stats and Leaderboards.
Events#
How often are KOTHs?#
A new KOTH starts 15 minutes after the previous one ends, rotating through five capture points. Hold one for 5 minutes to win a KOTH Crate key. See KOTH.
What are Envoys?#
Every 30 minutes, 20 to 30 supply chests appear in the Overworld. Click a chest for XP Pouches or Enchant Runes. See Envoys.
What is the Outpost?#
The Red Keep Outpost is always open. A clan that holds it for 5 minutes gets 20% more clan points until another clan takes it. See Outposts.
What is Admin Abuse?#
A Saturday event with eight waves and a boss. It pays cash pouches, Admin Shards and a raffle. Join with /adminabuse join. See Admin Abuse.
Worlds and travel#
How big is the world?#
The Overworld, Nether and End are each 50,000 by 50,000 blocks. See Worlds.
How do I find somewhere to build?#
Run /rtp or /rtpmenu. The random teleport has a 10 second cooldown and never lands you within 5,500 blocks of the centre. See Random Teleport.
Can I claim land?#
No. Lifesteal has no land claims, so hide your base and protect it yourself. Spawners and chests can be raided. See Overworld.
How do I reach the Nether and End?#
Use portals, or /rtp nether and /rtp end. See Portals.
Why can't I build near some edges?#
Within 32 blocks of a boundary between two world sections, building is blocked. See The Grid.
Where do I respawn?#
By default at the Lifesteal spawn. See Spawn and AFK.
What happens when I go AFK?#
After 5 minutes idle you get a 10 second warning, then you are moved to the AFK area. /afkback returns you. Everyone earns $1,000 for each 10 minutes online. See Spawn and AFK.
Spawners#
How do I get a spawner?#
Buy one in the /shop Spawners category, from $425,000 for a Cow spawner to $15,000,000 for an Iron Golem spawner. See Obtaining Spawners.
How do I pick a spawner back up?#
Use a tool with Silk Touch or a Spawner Wrench ($50,000 in the shop). See Obtaining Spawners.
Can other players steal my spawners?#
Yes. Anyone can collect a spawner's stored drops from its panel and pick it up with Silk Touch or a wrench. See Spawner Storage.
How many spawners can I stack?#
Up to 64 per placed spawner, and 100 placed spawners per player. See Stacking Spawners.
What are spawner upgrades?#
Speed, amount, drop chance, storage, XP and virtual production. Prices are per spawner for most upgrades. See Spawner Upgrades.
Ranks and kits#
What do ranks change in Lifesteal?#
Ranks shorten the elimination ban (from 1 day down to 30 minutes) and unlock kits with more hearts and gear. See Elimination and Donor Ranks.
Which kits give hearts?#
The Daily kit (1), Weekly kit (3), TikTok kit (2), and the Heart, King, Emperor, Lord, Overlord, Immortal, Wraith, Reaper and Netherite rank kits (1 to 9). See Heart.
