Virtual Mob Drops

The loot table of every spawner mob in virtual mode, with item ranges, pick chances, XP per roll and average output.

Virtual mob drops are the loot a spawner produces in virtual mode. Each mob has its own table. In physical mode the mobs drop their normal loot instead.

How a roll works#

Each cycle a spawner makes one roll per spawner in the stack, multiplied by the amount upgrade. A roll:

  1. Picks one entry from the mob's table. When a mob has two entries, the chance of each is in the table below.
  2. Rolls a random whole number of items between the minimum and maximum. Every number in the range is equally likely.
  3. Adds the XP for that entry, but only if at least one item was rolled.

A roll always succeeds, so with a stack of 64 and no upgrades a spawner makes 64 rolls every 30 seconds.

For example, a full stack of 64 Blaze spawners makes 64 rolls per cycle, about 32 blaze rods and 320 XP every 30 seconds, or about 3,840 blaze rods an hour before upgrades. Every roll that gives items takes one storage slot, so this stack fills the default 54 slots in about two cycles, and items that do not fit drop on the ground at the spawner. Production stops when the XP storage is full: with the default 10,000 XP this stack fills it in about 16 minutes. See Spawner Storage.

Notes#

  • Enderman and Pig have virtual tables, but no spawner for them is sold in the shop. The shop sells Cow, Spider, Zombie, Skeleton, Blaze, Zombified Piglin, Creeper and Iron Golem spawners. See Obtaining Spawners.
  • A mob without a table cannot use virtual mode.
  • The Speed upgrade shortens the cycle and the Amount upgrade adds rolls. The Drop Chance upgrade does not change virtual loot. See Spawner Upgrades.
  • Sell the loot with /spawner sell or in the shop. See Selling Spawner Drops.
