The Admin Shard is an amethyst shard with a dark red name. Its description reads "A shard hoarded by the Administrators." Shards are real items that stack, not a currency, so they can be lost like any other item.
How to earn shards#

| Taking part in an Admin Abuse event | 5 shards for everyone who joined or fought, when the event closes |
Shards are only earned in the Admin Abuse event, which runs on Saturdays.
The shop#
Open the shop with /adminabuse shop (alias /abuse shop). The Admin Shard Shop menu has two buttons:

When you click to buy, the shards are taken from your inventory first, and the key is given to you. If you do not have enough shards, nothing is taken and you see how many you need. Keep the shards in your inventory when you buy: they are items, not a balance.
