Money (written with a dollar sign) is the main currency on Lifesteal. It buys Hearts, gear, spawners and enchantment books in the shop, and it is the price of almost everything players trade with each other. This guide lists every source of Money and what each one is worth. For how balances, payments and notes work, see Money.

Playtime pay#
Every player who is online earns $1,000 every 10 minutes, which is $6,000 per hour. The timer keeps counting across logins, and time spent in the AFK zone counts too, so a long AFK session still pays.
Selling to the shop#
/sell pays the shop's current sell price for what you hold, and sell prices rise and fall with demand. See Shop and Selling for the full price tables. A few of the best base prices:
| Item | Base sell price |
|---|---|
| Diamond Block | $3,750 |
| Netherite Ingot | $500 |
| Saddle | $375 |
| Iron Block | $180 |
| Tropical Fish | $165 |
| Pufferfish | $120 |
| Cooked Salmon | $105 |
| Gold Block and Emerald Block | $90 each |
| Diamond | $50 |
| Ghast Tear | $50 |
Mob farms feed the Mob Drops category, which is sell-only (for example Shulker Shell $5, Blaze Rod $3, Spider Eye $1.25). Crops, fish and ores sell in their own categories.
Quests#
Quests pay automatically. A full quest line is worth $910,000 ($760,000 for Mining lines) plus 4 Vote Keys, and the first three tiers of any line pay $160,000 for modest targets. See Quests.
Orders#
Other players post orders for items and pay you the moment you deliver them. Fill orders for items you already carry, compare the price per item with the shop's sell price, and post your own when you need materials. See Orders.
Auction House#
List any item at a price you choose, or run a timed auction, in Money or Gems. The Auction House keeps 1% of every sale. See Auction House.
Voting and crates#
- Every claimed vote gives a Vote Key. When a vote party starts, every online player who voted in the last 24 hours also gets a Vote Key.
- Monthly vote milestones pay $50,000 at 35 votes, $100,000 at 90 votes, $200,000 at 150 votes and 200 Gems at 200 votes.
- The Vote Crate pays Money in about one opening in seven: $12,000, $20,000 or $30,000.
- Crate rewards also include money pouches worth $50,000 to $500,000 (see Crates).
What Money is spent on#
| Spend | Price |
|---|---|
| A Heart | $25,000 each in the shop's Misc category |
| Ability Pouch key | $500,000 |
| Netherite armor piece, sword, axe or trident | $150,000 each |
| Enchanted book | $60,000 to $100,000 (most, including Sharpness V, cost $100,000) |
| Spawners | $425,000 (Cow) up to $15,000,000 (Iron Golem) |
| Auction House sale | 1% fee, paid by the seller |
Tips#
- Keep the playtime pay running: even AFK time earns $1,000 every 10 minutes.
- Sell different items instead of one huge stack so demand pricing hurts you less. See Shop and Selling.
- Work on several quest lines at once; they all progress together.
- Check the Auction House before you sell rare items to a shop. Players often pay more.
