Spawn is the hub in the middle of the Lifesteal Overworld. It is where you arrive on your first login, where you respawn after a death by default, and the starting point for every warp. The AFK area is a separate area where idle players are moved.
Spawn#
Use /spawn to return to spawn. You cannot use it while combat-tagged. See Combat Tag.
Spawn is the middle 10,000 by 10,000 block section of the Overworld. See The Grid. Safe zones are marked areas where PvP is off. See Safe Zones.
The Warps menu#
/warps opens a menu of destinations. Click one to teleport after the 3 second warm-up. See Warps.
| Warp | Description in the menu |
|---|---|

The PvP warp is where Envoys are announced ("/warp pvp"). See Envoys.
AFK#
If you stop moving and interacting, the game moves you to the AFK area so you are not left idle in the open world.
- After 5 minutes of no movement, clicks, menu use or damage you are counted as idle.
- A 10 second warning follows: "You will be marked as AFK in
<time>!" and "Move or interact to avoid being marked as AFK." Move or click to cancel it. - When the warning ends you are moved to the AFK area.
- You see "You were moved to the AFK area." with a link to return.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Idle time | 5 minutes |
| Warning | 10 seconds, counting down |
| Destination | The AFK warp |
| Return | /afkback teleports you to where you went AFK |
| How long the return point is kept | 12 hours |
The /afkback command works like other teleports and warms up. If you have no saved spot you see "You have no AFK location to return to!". If the original spot is no longer safe it picks a safe spot within 8 blocks, or tells you "Couldn't find a safe location near where you went AFK."
You can also use the AFK warp yourself from the Warps menu.
Playtime rewards#
The AFK warp is described as a place to "Earn passive rewards while away". The reward system behind it is the playtime reward: every player earns $1,000 for every 10 minutes online. It counts time whether you are active or in the AFK area. Check your total with /playtime. There are no separate rewards that only the AFK area gives.
Server restarts#
During a restart you see the title "The server is rebooting" and "You will be moved shortly", and you are moved back automatically once it is ready. While you wait, only /hub and /lobby can be used.
