Clan Menu and Friendly Fire

The /clan menu shows your clan's limits and holds the chat channel toggles and your personal friendly fire switch.

The clan menu opens when you run /clan with no arguments. It shows your clan's basic facts and gives you three switches: clan chat, ally chat and friendly fire. You need to be in a clan to open it; otherwise the game answers "You need a clan to use this. Create one with /clan create."

The menu has one row of controls under a centred information item.

ItemWhat it does
Clan Information (book)Shows when the clan was founded, the owner, the member count against the Member Limit, the Ally Limit and the Warp Limit. It also says "Earn points from kills and events". It has no click action.
Clan Chat (paper)Switches your chat to the clan channel. Glows and reads Enabled while selected. Click again to go back to normal chat.
Alliance Chat (lectern)Switches your chat to the ally channel. Works the same way.
Friendly Fire (netherite sword)Turns your personal friendly fire setting on or off.

Chat channel buttons change the channel your normal messages go to; they do not hide other players' clan messages. See Clan Chat for the commands, the @ prefix and the ! prefix.

Friendly fire#

Friendly fire decides whether you can hurt your clanmates and allies. Every member has their own setting, and it is off by default.

OffOnNo
OnOnYes

Damage between two players is only allowed when both of them have friendly fire switched on. The rule applies to players in the same clan and to players in allied clans. Players from clans that are not allied are never protected by it. See Clan Alliances.

Ways to change the setting:

  • Click the Friendly Fire button in the /clan menu. It reads "Friendly Fire (Enabled)" with "Clan members can harm each other" or "Friendly Fire (Disabled)" with "Clan members can't harm each other".
  • Run /clan friendlyfire or its alias /clan ff. The game answers "Friendly fire is now enabled" or "Friendly fire is now disabled".

Clan help menu#

/clanhelp opens a separate Clan Commands Guide menu with one item for each group of commands: clan basics (create, join, reject, disband), member management (invite, kick, promote, demote), alliances and strikes, warps, and lists and rankings. Each item lists the commands with a one-line description. It is a quick reference and does not run anything when clicked. For alliances, use the full commands on Clan Alliances, such as /clan ally request <clan>.
