Greed is an Uncommon enchant for swords and axes. Each time you kill a player, there is a 5% chance per level that you are paid bonus money, starting at $125 for level I and rising by $25 per level.
How to get it#
Buy an Uncommon rune in the enchant shop for 10,000 XP. Opening the rune gives an enchanted book with one of the 24 enchants in the Uncommon pool, and every enchant in the pool is equally likely. See Runes for how the pool and the book level work.
Effect#
- The enchant triggers when a player dies and you are credited with the kill while holding the Greed weapon in your main hand. Killing mobs does nothing.
- It rolls the proc chance, which is 5% per level.
- On a proc, you receive bonus money. The base reward is $100, increased by 25% of the base per level.
- The bonus is paid to you and is not taken from the victim.
Levels#
| Level | Proc chance per kill | Bonus money |
|---|---|---|
| I | 5% | $125 |
| II | 10% | $150 |
| III | 15% | $175 |
| IV | 20% | $200 |
| V | 25% | $225 |
Notes and tips#
- Greed is a chance on top of a kill reward. For a payment on every player kill, see Bounty Hunter on the Economy enchants page.
- Both enchants can sit on the same weapon, and each pays out independently.
