Admin Abuse

Admin Abuse is a Saturday arena event with eight waves, a boss called The Administrator and an Envoy finale, paying Admin Shards, cash pouches and high-tier crate keys.

Admin Abuse is a large cooperative event on Lifesteal. The server team announces it, and per the Admin Shard shop it only runs on Saturdays. Players fight through eight waves of "staff" mobs in a dedicated arena, then take on a boss called The Administrator, and the event ends with an Envoy drop and a prize raffle.

Joining#

  1. Watch for the announcement. Lifesteal broadcasts the event start, and the server's Discord also announces it.
  2. Run /adminabuse join (alias /abuse join) while the event is running. You are warped to the arena.
  3. If no event is running you see "There is no Admin Abuse event running right now."

Joining is voluntary. Only players who join, or who are in the arena when the event ends, are rewarded. "Stay online until it ends for a shot at a big cash payout."

The event runs in its own arena world. Your hearts work as normal there: a death still costs a heart, so check your hearts first. See Hearts.

Waves#

Waves are kill-gated: the next wave starts when the previous one is cleared, or after 2 minutes 30 seconds, whichever comes first. Mobs trickle in six at a time every 3 seconds from the spawn totems, and the second half of a wave only arrives once the arena is nearly clear.

Each wave brings 20 + 6 x players mobs, with a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 750 (the number of players is everyone who joined or is in the arena). Event mobs only attack players. Vanilla drops are removed.

Mob tiers#

Mobs are "staff ranks". Each tier is bigger and tougher than the last. Health grows 10% per wave.

Every player kill of a wave mob also has a 20% chance to drop 2 Admin Shards. Drops appear as a glowing item from the mob and are locked to the killer for 10 seconds.

An Administrator cash pouch holds $25,000 to $75,000. See Admin Shard for what shards buy.

The boss#

The Administrator spawns after wave 8, announced as "The Administrator has entered the arena!". Its health bar is titled OPERATOR://CORRUPTED.

Finale and raffle#

After the boss, an Envoy drop called "Admin Remnants" appears in the overworld. See Envoys. Players still in the arena are returned to spawn. Each crate claimed has a 10% chance to give a bonus cash pouch. The event closes when all crates are claimed, or after 12 minutes.
