Replanter is a Legendary enchant for Diamond Hoe hoes. When you break a fully grown crop with it, the crop is planted again on the same spot, and it costs no seeds. Crops that are not ripe yet cannot be broken at all while you hold the hoe.
How to get it#
Replanter comes from the Legendary rune. A Legendary rune costs 200,000 XP in the enchant shop and turns into an enchanted book with one of the 31 Legendary enchants in Survival, picked at random, so each rune has a 1 in 31 chance of being Replanter. See Runes for how the success chance of a rune book is rolled. Replanter is also a possible reward in crates (Crates).
Replanter has a single level, so its book needs no level reveal.
Effect#
Replanter works on these crops: wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroot and nether wart. It acts every time (the chance is 100%) when you break one of them with the enchanted hoe in your main hand.
- Fully grown crop: you harvest it normally and keep all the drops, including the seeds, carrots or potatoes. One tick later the same crop is planted again at its first growth stage. The replant needs no seed or item from your inventory.
- Crop that is not fully grown: the break is cancelled and the crop stays in the ground, so you cannot ruin young crops by accident.
Notes and tips#
- The replant only happens if the spot is empty after the harvest; the new crop starts growing from the beginning.
- Pair it with Telekinesis to collect the harvest into your inventory while you walk along the rows.
- Other crops, such as melons, pumpkins, sugar cane and berries, are not handled by Replanter.
