Speed Shot is a Legendary enchant for Bow bows and
Crossbow crossbows. Everything you shoot with it leaves the weapon 50% faster.
How to get it#
Speed Shot comes from the Legendary rune. A Legendary rune costs 200,000 XP in the enchant shop and turns into an enchanted book with one of the 31 Legendary enchants in Survival, picked at random, so each rune has a 1 in 31 chance of being Speed Shot. See Runes for how the level and the success chance of a rune book are rolled. Speed Shot is also one of the possible rewards in crates (Crates).
Effect#
Speed Shot has no chance roll and a single level. Each time you shoot a bow or crossbow that carries it in your main hand, the launched projectile's speed is multiplied by 1.5, so it covers distance faster.
Notes and tips#
- It works on every shot.
- It can share a bow with Triple Shot. Speed Shot also fits crossbows; Triple Shot does not.
