Telekinesis is a Legendary enchant for tools: axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes and shears. Whatever a block drops when you break it with the enchanted tool goes straight into your inventory instead of onto the ground.
How to get it#
Telekinesis comes from the Legendary rune. A Legendary rune costs 200,000 XP in the enchant shop and turns into an enchanted book with one of the 31 Legendary enchants in Survival, picked at random, so each rune has a 1 in 31 chance of being Telekinesis. Telekinesis has a single level, so its book needs no level reveal.
Effect#
Every block you break with the enchanted tool in your main hand puts its drops directly into your inventory (the chance is 100%). This includes the drops of blocks with special drops, such as the custom blocks of the server. If your inventory is full, the leftover items drop on the ground at your feet as usual.
Telekinesis only moves items. Experience from mining still appears as orbs; the XP Telekinesis enchant adds experience to your total directly. Mob drops are not affected either, because the enchant works on blocks only.
Notes and tips#
- Extra blocks broken by Vein Miner, Blast Mining, Timber and Tree Feller are collected too, which saves picking up a whole vein or tree.
- Smelter changes the drops before they reach you, so smelted items arrive already cooked.
- Compressed Miner works on what is in your inventory, so Telekinesis feeds it.
- Telekinesis fits any tool, so it can be put on a hoe or axe for farming and logging too.
