Enchanted Items are rare, purple-named versions of ordinary resources (for example Enchanted Coal or Enchanted Wheat). They drop as a bonus from the Enchanted Items perk that every skill except Archaeology has, and they can be sold in the shop. The perk and its odds are explained on each skill page.
How they drop#
Each skill's Enchanted Items perk rolls only when you gather a resource that has an enchanted version, and the bonus item is dropped next to the normal drop. Every perk has an unlock level, a chance that grows with every level and a cooldown between successful drops.
| Skill | Perk unlocks at | Triggered by |
|---|---|---|
| Mining Skill | Level 50 | Breaking an XP-giving ore block that was not placed by a player in the last day, when the block drops the matching item (coal ore drops coal and diamond ore drops diamonds; iron and gold ore only qualify when they drop ingots) |
| Farming Skill | Level 5 | Harvesting a crop that drops the matching item; crops with growth stages must be fully grown |
| Forestry Skill | Level 10 | Breaking a block that drops apples or honeycomb |
| Fishing Skill | Level 10 | Catching a cod, salmon, tropical fish or pufferfish |
| Slayer Skill | Level 8 | Killing a mob that drops the matching item |
All of these can be switched off together with the Skill Trigger Perks option in /options.
