The Twilight Lootbox is the Twilight event crate. Each key opens a box that deals out four rewards at once, drawn from a Prison-only list of boosters, rank progress, skips, pouches and the exclusive Twilight gear: relics that boost your income, the Twilight Excavator Suit and two unique mining tools.
How to get keys#
Twilight Lootbox Keys have been sold in the store (Store). Packages and availability change, so check the store for what is offered now. Keys arrive in your inventory. The crate cannot be earned through prestige, rebirth or voting. Keys you already hold keep working if the crate is no longer sold.
Opening#
The Twilight Lootbox can be opened anywhere: hold the key and right-click a block, or use /crate openall twilight2026 to open up to 64 keys at once. A single key plays the Unboxing animation: a box appears, charges up, bursts open and deals out the four rewards from the most common to the rarest, with a pause and a bigger effect for the rarest. Bedrock players see a menu spin instead. Where the crate has a crate block, left-click it to preview. See Prison Crates for opening rules, bulk openings and delivery.
Chat announces when someone opens a Twilight Lootbox. The rewards are announced in one combined message listing everything the opener pulled, not one line per reward. Bulk openings are not announced. The crate has no guaranteed rewards, milestones or rerolls.
What it contains#
Each opening draws four rewards. All four come from the same list of 30 entries, each draw is independent, and the same reward can appear more than once. The chances below are per draw.
Rarest (0.20% each).
- Starfall Tally: a relic that gives 25% more tokens while it is in your inventory.
- Moonrise Ledger: a relic that gives 25% more money while it is in your inventory.
- Constellation Pickaxe: a netherite pickaxe. Use it, then manually break all three marked blocks in your own mine within 15 seconds to trigger a mining burst. Cooldown 30 seconds.
- Midnight Hourglass: a clock. Use it, then manually mine 20 blocks in 20 seconds, with each break within 3 seconds of the last, for 1,000 tokens. Cooldown 25 seconds.
Only one relic is active at a time; keep it in your inventory to receive the bonus.
