Removing pickaxe enchants lets you take levels off an enchant at any time and get the tokens you paid for them back. The refund is stored inside the pickaxe and can only be used for pickaxe enchants, so you can move your investment between enchants but never turn it into spendable tokens.
How to remove levels#
- Hold your pickaxe and open the enchant menu.
- Click the enchant, then the "Remove enchantments" button.
- In the unenchant menu ("Unenchant (name)") pick how many levels to remove: 1, 5, 25, 50 or 100, or remove all levels.
- Removing all levels asks you to confirm: "Remove all N levels of X. Reclaim R into this pickaxe."
Chat confirms either that the enchant was downgraded to the new level or that it was removed from your pickaxe, and shows the refund.
What you get back#
- Full refund of what you paid. The refund is 100% of the tokens you actually spent on the levels you remove.
- Stored in the pickaxe. The refund goes into the pickaxe's stored tokens, shown as "Stored in pickaxe" in the enchant menu. Stored tokens are spent first the next time you buy enchant levels (chat shows how many stored tokens were used and how many are left).
- Free levels refund nothing. Levels that came from Enchant Tokens or other free sources were never paid for, so removing them returns no tokens.
- A rebirth clears them. A rebirth replaces your pickaxe, and the stored tokens in the old one are lost with it.
You can always remove levels, even from an enchant that currently cannot be upgraded (for example Skin Mastery without a skin).
