The Gang Leaderboard ranks Prison gangs by beacons. There are two views: the weekly leaderboard, which resets every Wednesday and pays rewards, and the all-time leaderboard.
Opening the leaderboard#
Use /gang top (alias /gang leaderboard) or the Gang Leaderboard button in the gang menu. Add weekly or permanent to open a specific view, for example /gang top permanent. Without an argument, the weekly view opens.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Weekly Leaderboard or All-Time Leaderboard | Switches between the two views (one second delay between switches) |
| Next Reset (clock) | Counts down to the next weekly reset |
| Leaderboard History (book) | Opens the list of past weekly winners |
| Gang entries | Each entry shows the position, the gang, its leader, its beacons and its strikes |
| Arrows | Move between pages |
How scores are counted#
| View | Score |
|---|---|
| Weekly | How much the gang's beacon total has grown since the last weekly reset. It never goes below zero. |
| All-time | The gang's current beacon total |
The beacon total is the sum of the beacons held by the gang's members. See Gang Beacons.
- Mining beacons raises both scores. Spending beacons lowers them.
- A gang created during the week, or a gang that has never been through a reset, counts the entire beacon total of its members as its weekly score.
- A member joining adds their balance to the gang's total, so recruiting a rich player raises the gang's weekly score at once. Leaving takes it away again.
The weekly reset#
The week closes every Wednesday at 20:00 server time. The Next Reset clock in the menu shows the exact time left. At that moment:
- The ten gangs with the highest weekly score are recorded in the leaderboard history. A gang needs a score above zero and must not be disqualified.
- Every gang's weekly score is reset to zero by recording its current total as the new starting point.
- All gang strikes are cleared.
- The rewards are paid (see below).
Weekly rewards#
The top three gangs of the week receive Gems. The reward is paid to the owner of each winning gang, not split between members.
| Position | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1st | 5,000 Gems |
| 2nd | 3,500 Gems |
| 3rd | 1,500 Gems |
The leaderboard menu shows these amounts while the weekly view is open. To be paid, a gang must finish the week with a weekly score above zero and fewer than 3 strikes.
Strikes#
A strike is a mark that staff add to a gang for breaking the rules. Each strike carries a reason and a date.
/gang strikes [gang]lists the strikes of your own gang, or of the gang you name.- A gang with 3 strikes is disqualified: it is removed from both the weekly and the all-time leaderboard and cannot win the weekly rewards.
- Strikes appear in each entry of the leaderboard.
- Strike counts are cleared automatically at the weekly reset.
Leaderboard history#
/gang history (or the Leaderboard History button) opens a menu with one book per past week. Each book is named "Week n, year" and lists the winners of that week as "#position gang name (beacons)", where the number is the gang's weekly score. If no week has been recorded yet, the message is "There is no leaderboard history yet."
