Gravedigger is an epic dungeon weapon: a netherite axe with the Undead Bane ability. Most of the crypt's regular mobs are undead, so the bonus applies to most fights in the Overgrown Crypt.

Ability: Undead Bane#
Hits deal +20% damage, multiplied by ability power, to undead targets. A weapon of 90% quality adds about +29%. The bonus applies to these creature types: zombie, zombie villager, husk, drowned, skeleton, stray, bogged, wither skeleton, phantom, zoglin, zombified piglin, wither, skeleton horse and zombie horse. The real creature type counts, not how a mob looks. Crypt mobs built on those types, such as the Lizard Men (husks), Crypt Archers (strays), the Bog Shaman (a zombie) and the Gravewarden (a wither skeleton), all count. The final boss, the Bandit Warrior (a vindicator), does not, and neither does the Skeleton Pyromancer (a blaze dressed as a wither skeleton). The bonus applies to melee hits and works on mobs and on players, inside and outside dungeons.
