Glitch Bomb

Blast Prison pickaxe enchant that can trigger while mining to break half of the blocks in a 13x13x13 cube.

Glitch Bomb is a blast pickaxe enchant that breaks about half of the blocks in a large cube around the block you mined.

Effect#

  • Each time you mine a block, Glitch Bomb rolls a chance of 0.015% per level, up to 1.5% at level 100.
  • When it triggers, a green firework bursts at the block and the blocks in a 13 x 13 x 13 cube centred on it are each broken with a 50% chance. That is about 1,100 of the 2,197 blocks in the cube.
  • Only blocks that belong to your mine are broken, and unbreakable blocks are skipped.
  • Blocks broken this way pay out like blocks you mine yourself: tokens go to your balance and drops go to your backpack, and Fortune and Token Finder apply to them. Blocks broken by an enchant never roll for other enchants, so enchants do not chain.
  • It can also trigger in prestige mines.

Levels#

LevelChance per block mined
10.015% (1 in 6,667)
50.075% (1 in 1,334)
100.15% (1 in 667)
250.375% (1 in 267)
500.75% (1 in 134)
751.125% (1 in 89)
1001.5% (1 in 67)

The cube is the same at every level. The level only changes how often it triggers.

A chat message ("Your Glitch Bomb enchant activated!") confirms each trigger unless you have switched enchant activation messages off in your options.

Cost and unlocking#

It unlocks at Prestige 1 and shows as Rare in the enchant menu. Level 1 costs 50,000 tokens, and each further level costs more, following the formula on Pickaxe Enchant Costs. Your purchase cap is level 35 at Prestige 1 and reaches the full 100 levels at Prestige 7 (Pickaxe Enchant Caps). The maximum level does not change with rebirth.

Notes#

  • The menu description mentions a 10 block radius. The cube reaches 6 blocks in each direction from the mined block (13 blocks across).
  • Which blocks break is random, so the result looks patchy rather than a clean hole.
