Dungeon Weapons

The four dungeon weapons sold for Sewer Shards (Rusted Shiv, Warden's Cleaver, Gravedigger and Soul Leech), with how quality sets damage and ability strength.

Dungeon weapons are special blades and axes that you buy at the Dungeon Shop with Sewer Shards. Each weapon has a unique ability. The weapons are ordinary items: you can trade them, and their abilities work anywhere you fight, not only inside the dungeon.

Quality#

When you buy a weapon, its quality is rolled at random, evenly, inside the weapon's quality range. The quality is stored on the item, and it travels with the weapon when you trade it. The lore of a weapon shows its rarity, its damage, its quality and a souls counter.

Quality raises both damage and ability strength:

StatFormula
Damagebase damage x (1 + quality x 0.35)
Ability power1 + quality x 0.5

Here quality is written as a fraction, so 70% is 0.7. Ability power scales the ability: it multiplies the bonus percentage of Executioner, Undead Bane and Lifesteal, and it multiplies the proc chance of Bleed.

Where abilities work#

The abilities of all four shop weapons trigger on melee hits and work anywhere, not just in dungeon worlds. They can affect other players as well as mobs.
