Cluster Bomb is a blast pickaxe enchant that triggers an explosion which splits into smaller explosions, covering a wide area around the block you mined.
Effect#
- Each time you mine a block, Cluster Bomb rolls a chance of 0.05% per level, up to 5% at level 100.
- When it triggers, the first blast breaks every block in a sphere of radius 3 around the mined block (123 blocks).
- After a short delay, 0.15 seconds, the blast splits into 2 fragments. Each fragment appears at a random spot up to 5 blocks away in each direction and explodes in a sphere of radius 3 as well.
- Each of those fragments splits again into 2 more after another 0.15 seconds. The chain then stops, so one trigger makes 7 explosions in total: 1, then 2, then 4.
- Overlapping blasts do not break a block twice, and only blocks that belong to your mine are broken.
- Blocks broken this way pay out like blocks you mine yourself: tokens go to your balance and drops go to your backpack, and Fortune and Token Finder apply to them. Blocks broken by an enchant never roll for other enchants, so enchants do not chain.
- It can also trigger in prestige mines.
Levels#
| Level | Chance per block mined |
|---|---|
| 1 | 0.05% (1 in 2,000) |
| 5 | 0.25% (1 in 400) |
| 10 | 0.5% (1 in 200) |
| 25 | 1.25% (1 in 80) |
| 50 | 2.5% (1 in 40) |
| 75 | 3.75% (1 in 27) |
| 100 | 5% (1 in 20) |
The explosions are the same at every level. The level only changes how often it triggers.
A chat message ("Your Cluster Bomb enchant activated!") confirms each trigger unless you have switched enchant activation messages off in your options.
Cost and unlocking#
It unlocks at Prestige 4 and shows as Epic in the enchant menu. Level 1 costs 150,000 tokens, and each further level costs more, following the formula on Pickaxe Enchant Costs. Your purchase cap is level 78 at Prestige 4 and reaches the full 100 levels at Prestige 6 (Pickaxe Enchant Caps). The maximum level does not change with rebirth.
Notes#
- The fragments land at random spots, so the cleared shape is different every time. Together the 7 blasts can break at most 861 blocks, and fewer where they overlap.
