A mine is a world of your own where you mine blocks, pay for ranks and grow your income. Every Prison player has one, created automatically when you first need it. Your rank controls what it is made of, your prestige controls how big it gets, and only you and your gang can mine in it. Your mine is separate from your plot, which is a building area on its own server.
The basics#
| Open the mine menu | /mine |
| Go to your mine | /mine home (also /mine go, /mine tp, /mine visit) |
| Go to another player's mine | /mine home <player> |
| Refill your mine | /mine reset |
| Repair a glitched mine | /mine rebuild |
See Using Your Mine for how to use each command and Mine Menu and Management for the menu and for managing trusted players, bans and tax.
What your mine contains#
Your mine is made of the blocks that are unlocked at your rank. At rank 1 it holds stone and cobblestone; at higher ranks it holds ores and then blocks worth far more tokens and money. Each block has a fixed token value and sell price. The full schedule, weights and values are on Mine Blocks.
About 1% of the blocks that generate in your mine are beacon blocks, which pay beacons the moment you break them.
Size#
Your mine's mineable area starts at a base size and grows from Prestige 2 onward.
- It gains one block on each side for every 25 ranks you hold (rank 250 would add 10 blocks per side).
- That growth stops at a limit set by your highest prestige: 20 blocks per side at prestige 2, 30 at prestige 3, 35 at prestige 4, and 5 more with each prestige after that (65 at prestige 10, 515 at prestige 100).
- The mineable area is never wider than 90 blocks in total.
- The limit is permanent; it does not shrink when you prestige or rebirth. After a prestige your rank restarts at 1, so the area grows again as you rank back up.
The new ring of blocks is filled as soon as you unlock it.
Resets and regeneration#
Your mine refills in two ways, and both rebuild the whole area from the blocks unlocked at your rank, so a reset also picks up new blocks as you rank up:
- You reset it.
/mine resetschedules a refill. You can do this every 45 seconds. Anyone standing in the mine area during a refill is moved to the mine's spawn. - It regenerates itself. When more than 60% of the mine's blocks have been broken, it refills automatically.
The mine world is always midnight and mobs do not spawn naturally in it.
Who can enter and who can mine#
| Visit the mine | Mine blocks | |
|---|---|---|
| You | Yes | Yes |
| Your gang members | Yes | Yes |
| Players you trusted (role Member or higher) | Yes | No |

Only you and your gang can break blocks in your mine. Trusted players can come in but cannot break blocks. You can trust a limited number of players, ban up to 50, and set a tax on what other players sell while standing in your mine. See Mine Menu and Management.
