Dungeon Surges and Weekly Prizes

After a successful run, every party member gets a timed mining surge, and the fastest Hard runs of the week win Gems. Exact surge sizes, durations, stacking and payout rules.

Finishing the Overgrown Crypt pays more than chests. A successful run gives every party member a mining surge, and the fastest Hard runs of each week win Gems.

Mining surge#

When a run completes with a grade other than FAIL, every party member who was in the dungeon when it ended receives an Adrenaline Surge. A surge is a timed bonus to your money, tokens and beacons from mining, added on top of your other bonuses as extra percentage points.

DifficultyBonusDuration
Easy+10%1 hour
Medium+15%2 hours
Hard+20%3 hours
  • The bonus applies to all three mining rewards: money, tokens and beacons.
  • The surge counts down in real time. Unlike purchased boosters, it keeps running while you are offline.
  • The end time is fixed when the run completes.
  • Refreshing: a run of the same or higher strength sets the surge to that run's bonus and keeps whichever end time is later. A weaker run cannot shorten or replace a stronger surge that is still running, so an Easy clear never cancels a Hard surge.
  • A surge stacks with boosters you bought or used, such as the Dungeon Shop boosters, instead of replacing them.

Weekly Hard prizes#

The Hard difficulty has a weekly leaderboard of fastest runs.

RuleDetail
What is rankedYour fastest completed Hard run of the week. Only one result per player counts.
WeekMonday 00:00 UTC to the next Monday 00:00 UTC
Prizes1st 1,000 Gems, 2nd 500 Gems, 3rd 250 Gems
Who is paidThe three players with the fastest weekly times. Each player is ranked on their own best time, and everyone in a run shares its time, so one fast party can take all three places.
DeliveryShortly after the week closes

Runs on Easy and Medium do not enter the weekly board. They are still recorded in the season records.

Checking the board#

Use /dungeon top dwag weekly to see the weekly Hard board, with <page> to move through it. Run the same command with easy, medium or hard to see the season records for that difficulty. Each entry shows the time, the players and the grade.

Notes#

  • Failed and abandoned runs earn neither a surge nor a board entry.
  • Runs are recorded with the players who were in the dungeon at the end, so a player who left early is not credited.
  • Older records from before these rewards existed stay readable but never pay out.
