Plot Themes

The eleven planet themes you can give your plot, from Earth to the Sun, each unlocked by reaching a prestige level.

A plot theme is the scenery built around your plot, in the area outside your buildable ground. You choose it yourself, from the themes your prestige has unlocked. It is separate from your mine theme, which follows your prestige automatically.

The themes#

ThemeRequires prestige
Earth0 (available from the start)
Moon10
Mercury20
Venus30
Mars40
Jupiter50
Saturn60
Uranus70
Neptune80
Pluto90
Sun100

Each unlocks at the same prestige as the matching prestige mine and mine theme.

Choosing a theme#

  • Open /plot, click Settings, then Theme. The Theme button shows the theme on your plot now and opens the Plot Theme menu.
  • The Plot Theme menu has one slot for each of the eleven themes: the one on your plot glows ("Currently on your plot."), unlocked ones read "Click to use this theme.", and locked ones show a barrier with "Requires prestige (N)." Click an unlocked theme to switch to it.
  • Choosing a locked theme gives "That theme needs prestige (N)." A successful change says "Your plot theme is now (theme)."
  • A plot that has never had a theme chosen wears Earth.

What a theme changes#

A theme only replaces the decoration outside your buildable area. The plot at its largest size (90x90) and the slab outline around it are left alone, so your builds are never touched, even at the edge. The theme is repainted straight away when you change it while the plot is loaded, otherwise the next time it loads; a plot is also repainted on its next load after that theme's build has been updated.

You can only choose themes that your current prestige allows. A rebirth does not remove the theme already on your plot, but after it you can only switch to themes your new prestige allows.
