Haste is a passive pickaxe enchant that gives you the Haste potion effect while you hold your pickaxe. It raises your mining speed, it is bought with tokens in the pickaxe enchant menu, and it never has to trigger: it is on whenever the pickaxe is in your hand.
Effect#
- While your pickaxe is in your main hand, you have Haste at a strength equal to the enchant level minus one: level 1 gives Haste I and level 5 gives Haste V.
- The effect has no time limit. It is removed as soon as you switch to another item or leave the game.
- If you already have a stronger Haste effect from another source, the enchant leaves it alone instead of replacing it.
- The Haste potion effect is the only thing this enchant does. It does not change how often other pickaxe enchants trigger.

Prices are for rebirth 0 and follow Pickaxe Enchant Costs; every rebirth multiplies them by 1.55. The last column is the prestige at which your purchase cap first allows the level (Pickaxe Enchant Caps).
Cost and unlocking#
It is available from the start and shows as Common in the enchant menu. Level 1 costs 5,000 tokens, and each further level costs more, following the formula on Pickaxe Enchant Costs. Your purchase cap is level 1 at Prestige 0, level 2 at Prestige 5 and reaches the full 5 levels at Prestige 10 (Pickaxe Enchant Caps). The maximum level does not change with rebirth.
Notes#
- The maximum is only 5 levels, so the whole enchant can be bought quickly once your prestige allows it.
- The effect works in every mine and everywhere else in the Prison world, because it depends only on holding the pickaxe.
